Well, I am subbing in and under vote already. It's been awhile since I played mafia but I'm pretty sure this is where I role reveal and throw myself on the intelligence and good will of the town right?

A part of me wants to vote darth as he is the only one that voted for me without explanation. But I think that would be aspyied as a OMGUS vote.

Anyway what is the consensus of town? Should I reveal?

OK, so ninjacow does a joke vote on traius and then votes Kennigit, one of the least likely to be mafia.

Kennigit's power as described is brilliant. It's full of evil-goatee-detecting flavour, which would appeal to choxorn, while being a way of determining cover-roles. Now, something clearly went wrong with how kennigit interpreted what choxorn told him, but I simply can't believe kennigit is lying because it would be so brazen and needlessly complicated, asking to get tripped up. Further, it's clearly a pro-town power becuase its role is scum-detecting.

And kennigit was attacked last night. Because of above reasoning, I wouldn't expect a vig to go for him. So he was probably targeted by scum. Clearly a doctor though kennigit looked innocent, though.

That doesn't mean kennigit's definitely town, of course - as noted, we have an evil GM, or kennigit could be being very sneaky. And it could be a vig who doesn't agree with my reasoning, or a rival scum targeted him.

But it does mean someone voting him is not acting like a townie, especially after "joke" vote.

ninjacow may be town but may be the kind of town role that wants to kill me (possibly). I explicitly am supposed to scan someone I distrust (to answer I think Jarrema, yes I am one of the characters Jim plays at some point) or scan 3 beards in total.

but the person I distrust doesn't have any connection to sith/trade federation afaik, just kind of an npc.

I don't really follow why we wouldn't go after Raven Sol though. no one seems to defend traius, and we've already seen (a) masons (b) scans (c) assumed knowledge of existance of other roles from PG (as per my role PM)

at the worst we lose a townie who already used up his ability, rather than say, accidentally kill the person who protected me last night.

also could that person contact me? If you thought enough to protect me I assume you feel I'm town.

I don't think I misinterpreted anything; I just didn't anticipate R2's 5 o'clock rust from the daily sand storm on Tatooine chipping off his paint as counting as a beard

(to be clear, that's a joke. However, I did ask for clarification in the watto case if a neck beard would count as a beard before I scanned, which it does. I don't know if spaceman is watto or not, but I already posted I think it is a valid claim).
