Darths and Droids Mafia- Game Thread

Lynch Xenoneb, give Zack orb, roleblock/vig mechaerik, Peace Moon/lynch mechaerik.*

Seems pretty obvious that Xenoneb is Grievous, now, and that I was wrong about Gone 3 the Celt. Although your post voting me is still pretty WTH.

The Black Knigh and Mat93 are the only two living players who I don't know anything useful about.

*Alternatively, switch Xenoneb and mechaerik here.

What happened to Autolycus? I mean I have my own list which I was going to push until this day took a turn for the paranoid;

Autolycus- Suspicious lurker, random votes.
Xononeb - basic lurker, misses votes.
Mechaerik - Lurks. Is Anakin, a suspicious character.
Mat93 - generic helpful posts. Too bland?
The Black Knigh - Voted for pro-town, wierd behaviour. Was quick to point finger at NinjaCow.

I did have Sam Sniped on here as he hadn't revealed anything useful with his ability since he first revealed it. But his post this Day takes him off, provided it is true. I assume evidence of Autolycus being town has also appeared for you seeing as you were voting for him yourself not so long ago?

Backwards Logic is NOT Qui-Gon Jinn, Ravus. Someone else is Qui-Gon, just not him.

Any questions, ask me via PM.

Well why not. Lets see how the rest of my notes hold up.

Autolycus- Suspicious lurker, random votes. Town as they come.
Xenoneb - basic lurker, misses votes. Scanned as mafia.
Mechaerik - Lurks. Is Anakin, a suspicious character. Wants to make me his cult minion.
Mat93 - generic helpful posts. Too bland? The scanner received a "your scan failed blah" when he/she tried to scan Mat.
The Black Knigh - Voted for pro-town, wierd behaviour. Was quick to point finger at NinjaCow. Don't know anything about him. He was originally going to be scanned last night, but I told the scanner to switch to Xenoneb. Survived a nightkill and has been acting really weirdly in the thread.
My comments in blue.

I should also note that I could also give the Orb to the scanner, which he/she has privately confirmed increases its power level to roughly 9001.

I want the Orb. I love the sheep mentality of 'Zack is town, give him everything,' despite Xenoneb's claim of him being Palpatine. Truthfully, until I see Zack bring down a third-party scum (non-Trade Federation or S/K edition), there's zero reason to trust him as he can definitely be this third party. As for this 'vig' that's running around, he hasn't targeted anyone the town has wanted dead, so I highly, highly doubt he's pro-town. Anyone thinking otherwise earns a great big FoS your way, specifically Ravus_Sol.

I'm split on the lynch of mech. On one hand, he hasn't been killing anyone. On the other, his death clears up the Zack situation. If mech is town, Zack cannot be trusted and in turn, should not have the Orb. I propose this: give me the orb, lynch mechaerik. Should mech flip third-party cult, I'll hand the Orb over to Zack and he can do whatever with it. If he's town, Zack won't have the Orb and we can deal with him later.
Let's get semiotic… why do you 'want' the Orb? Is it to increase your power levels? A PG? You want, or do not want. Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
Xenoneb and Gone 3 the Celt are the last two scumbags on their team.

Yesterday (game time), Gone 3 the Celt told me he was in contact with a vigilante. My immediate response was "is it Xenoneb?", which Gone 3 the Celt deflected. At this point, the "vigilante" was obviously either Gone 3 the Celt himself, or Xenoneb (they know each other from TWC, and they were both one of the few people I knew nothing about, making them logical candidates for sharing information).

Last night, I told Gone 3 the Celt to order the "vigilante" to kill mechaerik, in plenty of time before night was extended. He gave me some weird answer about not being able to pass on the order in time, and that the "vigilante" was targeting The Black Knigh. Night was extended for 24 hours, and the "vigilante" still never changed orders, meaning something was obviously wrong.

Meanwhile, I told the scanner to take a look at Xenoneb. Turns out, he's mafia.

I open up the thread and see a historically lame attempt to color me as untrustworthy, and some buddy-buddy patting on the back and orb-giving.
Then let's lynch Xenoneb, and try that Peace Moon orbital WMD bombardment on them. I'm waiting in the Gungan memorial gardens at the Peace Moon. (OOC: You have read up until that point, haven't you?

There is no vigilante.* Xenoneb and Gone 3 the Celt are mafia buddies trying the oldest trick in the book - claiming vig - and almost certainly the last two people on their team. Admittedly, there is still a possibility of other mafia and/or third-party factions.

Vote: Xenoneb

*During the night, at least. I'm a limited day-vigilante, and my powers will increase if I have the Orb.
Hmmm. :scan:
Xenoneb, but for all I know you are the third team, as I've pointed out earlier. For all we know, you could be converting mech to your team. I still maintain I should have the Orb.
Why should you have the Orb? What qualifies you over me?
Not sure. He might have an ability that needs powering up? Or, as I said before, it might just be an item-grab. A PG? But why should you have it all? OK, there's a claim for moar vig, but brute force doesn't win mafia games. Perhaps someone else should have their ability enhanced. A scanner, or a doctor perhaps.

You could really have done some better colour-coding, man, at first glance it looks like you've cleared all of them.

Zack. That's a nice OMGUS you got there. Guys, he's controlling the town. Don't let him do that. He's Papitine, and Papitine is not a townie.

Try asking, might help. No idea why the scan failed, nothing in my role PM about scans being successful or not.

vote: Backwards Logic your logic is awful. Beyond awful even. As much as I disagree with what Zack is doing, and I'm not entirely sure he's town, he has done more than most against scum teams. Only person more confirmed than him (IMO) is azzaman...and he could be cult, if there is one.

azzaman for the orb

On a slight tangent, mechaerik needs lynching, and TBK I couldn't complain about being lynched either. G3TC and Xenoneb as well.

unvote; vote: Xenoneb

Bolding mine. This is hilarious. My logic is awful, yet you completely disagree with what Zack is doing which is similar to what I've said, and you're not sure he's even town. How is my logic awful? Or was this post just to earn points with Zack? Make up your mind - you can't have it both ways.

For all you naysayers out there, my PG is only active when I'm dead, so I can exactly do anything about it while I'm alive. I have to accuse the person most responsible for my demise. Sam can scan me tonight if you want to confirm. I don't want the Orb for me, I want it so Zack doesn't have it. Plain and simple.

brute force doesn't win mafia games.
Nope, brute-force vigging doesn't win games. Coordinate teamwork, scan results, voting patterns and generally annoying other people to see whether they flinch or not is what wins games.

I disagree with it on a metagaming level...but in game, makes perfect sense...

[Slightly Offtopic] I disagree with town networks where 1 person is controlling most things that go on, on the basis that people (townies not scum) not in the network know nothing, and thus are likely to lynched at some point, and really have no clue what is going on[/Offtopic]

In game, Zack has been cleared by a scanner (allegedly), and has for the most part proven himself as townie. Hence why I disagree with you not trusting him, and wanting the orb for yourself...when you have done nothing (from what I know) that is against scum. Not. one. single. visible. thing. You have never said why we should trust you...let alone proven it.

I made it cool to vote for Southern King before any of you thought it would be a good idea. I put him on your collective radars.

A lurker...easy target. Not helping a scum team (well not much, should be Wogged before game end anyway), so easy town cred for not much loss. Doesn't prove anything.

You do realize I mentioned him (and CivGeneral) based on a missing kill from that night, right? That there was a rhyme and reason to those accusations. It wasn't a dumb luck lurker snag like you would have us believe.

Congratulations. I run the town network and act as its public face, have demonstrated my ability, and been scanned town. So of course it doesn't make sense to give me the Orb because I'm part of a cult conspiracy and in cahoots with someone I tried to kill with a huge laser.
