Oh I forgot about this game! Disciples II has an excellent atmosphere, I love games with some sort of dark feeling to them (that's why Diablo 1 is still my favorite in that series).

I don't know where to put this story, but the Internet just has to know what happened to me not two hours ago:
For those who have been living under a rock the last week, the Steam Summersale is currently on, which means that a great many games on Steam have extremely reduced prices for a short time. I usually play together with two friends from high school, with whom I'm talking over teamspeak during the following course of events. I have only Counter-Strike: Source, Friend A has CS Source and CS Global Offensive and Friend B has neither. Friend A suggests that Friend B buys CS Complete which includes both Source and GO, but since Friend A is still living in the last century he can't make online transactions with his bank account, and Friend B doesn't have any money whatsoever on his own account atm. Hence I check my own account and tell them that I have a balance of 9,51, which they found highly amusing. Turns out that is the exact price of CS Complete, not a Cent too much or too little.
But wait, there's more! After I point out that Friend B can now play CS GO with Friend A when I'm not around Friend A says that I should buy CS GO for myself as well, but I remind him that I can't buy both GO for me and Complete for Friend B when I have just the right amount of money for only one of them. However I then remember that I also have a PayPal account so after checking the price of GO, which is 6,99, I log into that one and break out into roaring laughter upon seeing my balance there: 6,99.
My friends first called bull**** but my screenshots don't lie.

I've been talking about this on the forums for the past week or so, but I'd like to officially announce here that I will be leaving CFC for the next 5 weeks. This is because I will be going to a summer camp where no internet is allowed. I leave tomorrow morning (whenI might get to very quickly check the forums) and don't get back until the late afternoon of August 3rd.

I've never been camping in groups, just with my family. It is kind of awesome, if you're into that sort of thing. If you just hate the countryside, then better keep on playing DoC

I meant the game Europa Universalis 4 or Europa Universalis 3.
Haha, where I work the meeting rooms are named after European cities. So a couple of days ago we were looking for an empty one and I told my coworker that Amsterdam was occupied. His reaction was "if I don't pay attention to you Germans for 5 minutes!".That's not normally something you would like to hear from a German.
I don't see a reason to prefer EU3 over EU4. It's a very evolutionary new version of the game.

To me, EU4 feels much more organic and somewhat less like a board game. Of course, it might just be the far superior interface and map, but that's still a significant improvement over EU3.
