Deny, Defend, Depose

Jan 6 was a pretty significant Civil action. The BLM protests, particularly during the COVID lockdowns were also pretty significant Civil action. The Occupy Wall Street protests all over the country were also pretty significant Civil Action. I'd even say the Tea Party rallies/protests were pretty significant Civil action
I hesitate to call any of these significant.

They had the atmosphere of the carnival, and I think that's why the majority of attendees were there. Political goals secondary. Jan 6th is an example: the crowd had the coup within reach if they wanted it. There was little will to uphold the system. But the crowd was not seriously interested in that. It wasn't exactly Bolshevik style.

BLM did have passionate believers hopeful for political action, but theirs was an amorphous thing, with little clarity in goals. Defund the police was phrased so poorly. If the message had been police reform, they'd have succeeded to a greater extent than they did.

This post is almost as confused and thoughtfully lost as our dear Luigi.

You are so fudging disconnected from the real world that you describe the US population as "all bourgeoise"? Thats fudging insane man, have you been out of a suburb ever in your entire life? The bourgeoise at the french revolution was certainly better off than some of my neighbors in small town Midwest. The French Revolution (the great terror one you obviously have your panties in a wad over) was a liberal revolution. Liberalism is insanely violent as a rule, especially once we drop the pretense of caring about what is ideologically liberal versus what liberal laws and economics writ large look like in action (insanely violent). Yes, right wingers are inherently more violent than left wingers... It is not close but that's why left-wing violence piques curiosity in the US. Your gun stance is fudging insane and a contradiction to what any decent liberal I know would stand for, you are giving an absolute and then judging most absolutely by it, seems pretty extreme. Most people I know allow for shifting of ideas over one's lifetime (ideological rigidity is actually a trait I associate mostly with my family, whom are all very reactionary by nature).
All your Marx horsehocky is so stupidly Ameribrained as to be easy to ignore, your education failed you, and your critical thinking skills have not made up the difference yet. Your bullfeathers about poor people having smartphones and televisions is the same stupid type of attack that has always held back progress on any front... Its an ignorant point every time no matter who is spouting it. You could just as easily be saying, "these people actually expect to have two days off a week! what kind of insane nonsense is this!".

Pacification of the masses has always been thing, quality of life concerns shift and will continue to shift... as the enhorsehockytification of America and the rest of the planet continues. Not to mention the irony of this coming from a fudging poster living under a government written up almost 250 years ago that I can make really damning arguments did not ever live up to expectations and should have been totally replaced almost immediately.

I agree with the idolatry (this figure anyways) not being helpful for much, but still this entire screed screams "cut a liberal and a fascist bleeds"
Are you really unable to stop yourself typing 47 swear words in a single post? The result looks fudging stupid.

Some of the smartest people I've met have a much higher ratio.

Complex ideas burble from them fast enough they lean on the context and intonation of multipurpose words.

Luigi's arc was disappointing, all things considered.
Another young person who ended their life (practically) for nothing at all.
He isn't even likely to be talked about much in the future, if that was part of what he was after.

Let's see how Toad and Princess do.

TBH the healthcare discourse here was pretty dead the last few years.
Much of the discourse, at least from what I’ve seen as of late post 2016, largely revolved around identity politics and wokeness. The last time I’ve seen any kind of discourse was during the Occupy Movement (granted it wasn’t solely on healthcare), and that discourse faltered sometime around 2014 IIRC.
But yes, Toad is our last hope for healthcare.
I’m sorry, but the princess is in another castle.

talk is ten years and 100k fine for an email... every right-wing terror attack is followed by empty promises of blow hards trying to sound cool online, but the gestapo shows up at your front door when you email healthcare execs... lmao, this society is disgusting.

The vengeful chicken****s are scared.

come on , nobody can ever have assumed ordinary Americans would be allowed to hurt or threaten CEOs !?

It was something she said on the phone, not an email.

oh I thought I heard them say email, thats what I get for using video as a cource.

So that phone recording I could see warranting a visit, but once it was clearr the lady had a moment basically, just let it go... I have a bad feeling for her, like that one Florida leftist that advocated for defending their statehouse from insurrection and is serving 5-10? I think.

Imo if it is established that she had no ability to carry out the threat, there shouldn't be any jail time. People say stupid stuff, no point in locking them up for one phone call/mail. The fine itself shouldn't be life-changing either - I doubt she can pay $100K like that.

Lucky she didn't have any skittles on her when they got skurd.
