DisI - No one expects the Spanish Inquistion (In RaR)!

Hi, thought I'd start a RaR game for us Monarch/starting Emperor level players

Game= RaR 1.01
Civ= Spain
Size= Standard
Map= Continents
Terrain= Random

We can play a no variant game (on emperor preferably) or we can play a variant I've been considering (which works a lot better in RaR) most likely at Monarch level;

Spain and the glory of god?
1 - We are religious purists and will allow no false idols, thus whenever another Civ builds a religious great wonder we must immediately declare war on them (or slightly delayed) and battle till the wonder city is taken or razed

2 - When we research fundamentalism (at high priority) we must immediately switch to a fundamentalist government and build inquisitions We will stay fundamentalist till the IA

3 - While we are fundamentalist we preach against those secularists who might detract from the truth; whenever a Civ builds a Scientific wonder they must be wiped from the face of the earth!

Hopefully the continents should have us declaring War on all the Civ's on the other continent as soon as its discovered...just like real life Spain and the natives.

Nice theme .
What about the "Holy City"? Shouldn't any AI city with that Small Wonder be razed to the ground (not that hard to find, needs Incense in city radius).

Would you have to continously check all cities with Incense via espionage? If so seems like alot of work! we might just let them keep their "Holy City" ..provided its dedicated to the right religon of course...

The problem may be there are too many RaR games already going on here. Maybe you should as well announce it on the RaR thread in C&C?

I agree with Doc in that a lot of RaR is going on.

Part of the problem may also be the variant. I could see it turning into all but AW. You could have the headache of the wonder being built at the other end of the world, all you military is there, and a wonder is then build next to your home. To me, the potential for chaos is to high.
