dl1 -- The Kings of Unfair

Hi me again, something is topping me from playing, the save I downloaded was a few KBs short of a file and wouldn't open, it's not the first time it's happened.
I'm going to have to request a skip/swap (depending on what my punishment is) as I won't be able to post for a couple of days.
Again apologies for holding this up.

Roster:
dl123654
shyuhe (just played)
50 dollar bag (skipped or swapped)
vra379971 (up)
Bede (on deck)

Hmm... That may mean that the save file I uploaded wasn't proper... I won't have access to my civ computer till Monday to investigate though :( Sorry team.

IBT
Julius of the Holy Romans requests 450 gold, I gave in we're about half his strength

Turn 226
Boudica revolted to Vassalage and mercantilism (seemed like preparation for war but more likely to help her unit upkeep)

Turn 232
Traded Julius constitution for economics and some gold (had to get back our tribute money somehow)

Turn 235
Finished Moai in Nijmegan, I thought I'd just build it and get it over and done with, all this debating has cost us a lot of hammers. The other Moai city would take too long to build it, it can have a dike as a consolation prize. With it's completion it becomes our best hammer producer.

Summary
Pretty much a builders round for the most part, started military in a lot of cities though, pretty slow builders most of them ~8 turns. Our power rating looks bad ATM but Boudica has a lot of obsolete units to her name, a few rifles will make short work of her Praetorians/Knights.
Started Statue of liberty in Amsterdam, should be able to rush the remainder ina bout 5 turns or so, it'll grow next turn which will get us a few more hammers from the Great Engineer.
We still haven't built the Heroic Epic, Nijmegan would be the best candidate IMO, with a dike it will be a monster.
We can also make a civics change to either Free Market or Mercantilism, I'm not a big number cruncher so I'll leave it up to someone who is. We were getting about 59 in the imports section of the demo screen last I looked, it's all from Germany.

*grab*

Got it for tomorrow, assuming misery doesn't befall me.

Just an update, the report will be up later today as I have a take home exam to write.

I've having some family issues, I just can't get to this now. Sorry. Perhaps by Tuesday whyen classe are over.

Got it for tomorrow.

I lost track of the roster...sorry.

I lost track of the roster...sorry.

And then I lost track of my life.

Holiday  ness has set in with a vengenace. I must drop this game. Twleve hour days and BtS don't go together well at all and when you add in a six day work week it's' all over.

Sorry to disappoint but the ol' grey monk just ain't what he used to be

Apologies for the delay but I'm trying to juggle school work with civ. Anyways, I played longer than 10 turns since it looks like we're down to half our roster.

Turn 236 - Corp. is in, I set Bombay to the HE as it has nice production and is close to the frontline with Boudica.

Turn 238 - SoL is in. I burned the GE to finish it.

Turn 239 - A GS is born. I trigger a GA with it (our first) so that I can swap in to free market and nationhood for free. I start drafting rifles across our cities.

Turn 240 - Steam power is in. I set research to 0% so that we can swap in to US and rush buy the dikes (I forgot to swap in the first batch).

Turn 247 - Kremlin is built by HC.

Turn 248 - A GA is born in Amsterdam. Dikes have been completed in almost all of the cities.

Turn 249 - RR is completed.

Turn 250 - I drafted a few more rifles. We are in the last turn of our GA so we should swap our civics to whatever we want them to be. I would like to stay in our current civics for the upcoming war (US/nationhood/emancipation/free market/free religion) but I'm open to suggestions on this. Representation may be better than US but we will also have factories to rush buy soon as well (assembly line is 6 turns away or so).

At the rate we're going, I think we should just wrap this up with domination. There are backwards AI on the other continent that we can mop up after we finish off Boudica. Boudica is at least two techs away from rifles so we should be able to crush her with ease.

Update, still haven't got to either of my games, work has been really :whipped: me this week. If someone wants to swap feel free, otherwise I will try to get to it tonight but most likely it will be tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Again sorry that took so long.

Played 10 turns.

Started the war, Rome had many more units then I thought. But their numbers are getting smaller every turn. Took 3 cities and have massed units outside their capital, a spy has been sitting in their capital for 4 turns now and gets a nice discount. For the battle of Rome you can either attack on turn 1 or 2 of your turnset because of the reinforcements that are getting there next turn.

Researched, Assembly Line, Fasicm, Military Science and some of Combustion.

We have 3 Great Generals now who can build military acdemies or make warloads. We also have a Great Artist from before that I think we should use it for a Great Work when we attack the other island.

Our army is still doing really well, our loses were few and compared to theirs
