Screw it, it's a builders' turnset, how can I possibly screw up the game?
Oh, by starting a wonder, that's what!

Time for a more careless hyooman to take the helm. Unlike anyone who thinks like an angel, he approaches empire management with a sort of devil-may-care attitude. Build this build that. Learn this research that.
During his reign until Turn 300, the Banorian team learned Rage, Math, Engineering and Taxation. Guilds is currently in progress for improved workshops.
Khazad adopt Republic, but Bannor export Fur to the Mercurians to balance out the citizens' clamor to join the Republic. Shall we adopt Republic now? Perhaps... but lazy as he is, the ruler will leave that to his successor... if there is any. But he will make sure that he will rule forever. If he can.
Just as he convinced Bannor to start researching Engineering, the Luchirp complete the Guild of Hammers. So much for his well-made-plans. (Though he didn't actually make them, one of his predecessors did.)
Floundering in despair inside the royal library, the ruler happens upon a treasure map... he immediately commissions a Caravel and orders a brave adventurer Angel to take the helm. After outfitting the vessel with improved cargo space and longshore crew, the ship set off for the high seas. As of now, the poor Angel is still lost at sea, but fortunately going ever closer to the treasure island. (It's on an island at the eastern coast of the continent.)
Hungry for battle, the ruler spent years spreading his religion of violence with Ecclesiasticals while building military units such as Ratha, Catapult and Champion. Some Vicar were also hired for army healing. (Unfortunately, he will not live to see the war taking place.)
Realizing that the so-called allies are really being a pain in the rear and taking some good Basium land, the ruler took some time off to order up some Carnivals and Pagan Temples to attract Bannor, Kuriotate and other citizens to Basiumland. Unfortunately, the move hasn't worked so well. It may even affect his ill-advised plan to build a City of Slums at the southernmost city.
The ruler conveniently ignored the call of the heavens, even though he was granted about fourteen angels as bodyguards, he ordered them to just sit around and guard the border city along with the Ratha, Catapults and Champions.
War is raging between the Khazad and Kuriotates. They ask the Banorians to join but both are declined by the ruler. Kurio also demand a gift, which was also declined. Now they are just cautious to us.
Alexis is founder of that evil religion. She's now preparing for war (WHEEOHRN). Likely target is Garrim Gyr. She wouldn't dare attack the Banorian team with those 4-attack pathetic units, the ruler thought, getting all complacent about his own security.
During his rule, the ruler was told of a bad omen that prevented spellcasting for an unbearably long time, perhaps a curse cast by a rival civilization. The ruler ignored this sign and went to feast on his royal dinner. Unfortunately, he perished shortly after the meal. Some say a rival poisoned him. Others say he just choked on a slice of ham he failed to chew properly.
Regardless, life went on as if nothing happened. A new ruler is about to reign, much to the delight of the Banorian citizens. An appropriate phrase for this joyous event is, "thank heavens".
