Do things and places IRL remind you of OT posters?

I thought of Winner during the Eurovision song contest yesterday, when the Czech republic gave Russia 12 points.
 
In February when the family and I drove from Heathrow to Devon, I did think of some OT posters when I went through, or saw signs pointing to, the various places they are from. I particularly though of Truronian while I was in Devon knowing that he would chastise me just for being there.

So does anyone think of me at the mention of Toronto, or do you just get angry? :D
 
Once, an argument that started between a one-time-guest and a fellow group member of a Bible Study I'm in reminded me of users bickering in religion themed threads in OT where one person tries to insinuate that they're right and the other person's wrong and doesn't know what they're talking about. :p I had plenty of flashbacks to CFC that night...

You're a Catholic. Why on earth are in you a bible study group? :confused: If you want a correct interpretation of a passage, you should seek the priesthood or theologians, not the laity.

As for the OP, yes, there's quite a few. Belgium is philippe, philosophy with fifty, electronics stuff with perfection, biology stuff with El Mach, music with downtown and Trajan, Romania and with mirc, women with Lucy, asians with Lightfang, theology with plotinus, computers with Till, laissez-faire capitalism with amadeus, and a bunch more, some not suitable for this forum.

It was more faith sharing than actual Bible Study (we call it that). But, we do have a priest that comes down from time to time.

I have a good friend who reminds me a lot of Zarn in his religious and political views, but I never really established any connection until the thread encouraged me to think about it.
