Do you hate going out on weekends?

I like going out on weekends, but it's usually a lot more fun when I'm with good friends. So, how often I do depends on the proximity of good friends. On the other hand, lazy weekends at home can also be enjoyable... but at the end of the weekend, I'm quite a bit more likely to be satisfied with the weekend if I did go out at least once.

Also, I count going to friends' places as going "out", even if it is inside and at a private residence.

Hell no. I love going out. I rock at beer pong.

Nothing is forcing you to go out. Not everyone is an extrovert. Some of us are pervert, I mean introverts.

Normally spend the one day per week off, doing chores and then resting.
I go out and go nuts once in a while (like trying to do everything when going out)

Otherwise introvert and pervert :O

I became a happier person when I didn't worry about needing to go out on the weekends. Staying in on the weekends rules. Going out is fun too.

I usually stay in on weekends, but I prefer going out - The main problem with me going out is that none of my friends live near me, and there's nothing to do where I live. However, I'm moving to a beach-house in Brasil at by far the most popular beach in my home town, so I won't have to go out too much on weekends because everyone will go to my house.

I don't care one way or another, I never plan more than half an hour ahead. I usually try to keep an even schedule of hanging out with my different groups of friends so if I haven't seen someone in awhile I'll hit them up but I usually never feel the need to go out and do anything. I am 100% happy sitting at home alone. There's about a 30-35% chance that I'll go out on a given day.

Of course now with University I'm hanging out with people at least four days a week.

I would have gone to a party Saturday night but I still had my bulging disc to deal with. It's hosted by this Google engineer who's pretty cool and outgoing. I'll definitely go next year.

A google engineer is hosting your bulging disc?

Wise guy!

I like doing both, but a weekend isnt long enough for going out and bumming around at home properly.... This is why 3 day weekend rocks. Saturday party, sunday recovery and monday sleep and laundry.

I don't like doing "social" events as people understand it, i.e. go to a sports game/concert/party/whatever.

I do like just simply hanging out with friends though--get some food, watch a movie at someone's place, etc. But hanging out with 3-4 people is not really what most people call as "going out", even if it requires going over to someone else's place.

I'm perfectly happy staying at home, but I do enjoy social events. I'm not much if a planner though so the only time I end up going out is when someone else organizes. I've become a fan of meetup.com because of this.

Actually a valid question. Last year my weekends (non-uni days) were Sundays and Mondays. Monday wasn't really an enjoyable day, because you have to do stuff on Mondays anyway, and Caturdays were compeltely spoiled.

Still, I do like going out and doing something, yes.
