It's not that I prefer dead trees, I just don't have any use for an e-book at the moment. Perhaps if I travelled more.

I use my phone as an ebook reader (using Aldiko), and I noticed that, since I started using ebooks, I'm reading significantly more books then before. Especially in bed.

I find it a lot nicer to read this way, lying on my side, than before with hardcopy books.
It's a lot less cumbersome, you can just hold the phone in one hand, with the lights out, flip the pages with the volume key.

Got a kindle for Christmas, and it's working out pretty awesome. Haven't used it as much as I might, because I also got some dead tree books for Christmas. But my bookshelf is almost full to bursting anyways, so yay.

I've converted a few books from epub to Kindle format (with Calibre), and haven't run into any wonky layouts yet.

Kindle. I bought it when I sat down and figured out how much reading cost me and how stupid it was to heft around a satchel for books when I travelled. Simple as that. Having said that, I still purchase books. But just ones I either can't get or need for reference purposes. If I like an author I'll go out and purchase the books as well. Otherwise, the Kindle does the heavy lifting.

P.S. The libraries here also suck.

Use an e-reader from time to time, bu I prefer paper for some books.
