Do you think the human notion of 'infinite'/'infinity' is actually real infinity?

It's because infinity is a concept, and as such you can't add it to a number. So you'll never reach infinity while you sit there adding things manually. But 0.99... is already defined as something which is infinite, it exists outside of your ability to create it using addition.

At this scale, it's like trying to remove a splinter with salad tongs, that have kilometer long handles and weigh 20 tons. When we say infinity, what we really mean is cut to the chase. We don't need to go through everything, just show us the final result. It does not have to be exact, so long as we can get close enough.
