We're certainly more intellectual. Can't see us being much more intelligent. If anything, being more intellectual is just as likely to make us dumber, because we have a bad habit of attaching ourselves to bodies of thought that we only superficially understand (and I include myself in that as much as anyone).

I think the answer is "depends on what forum you are in". Many of the game general discussion forums are primarily posted in by people who I would consider to be not too smart. On the other hand, the OT and Mod development areas do have a very high general level of intelligence IMO, so if those are all you ever look at (and I'm a little guilty of that) you would say that CFC is more intelligent than the average.

Also, speaking from the perspective of someone who goes to a suburban high school that is one of the best in America, I can say that I generally am able to read far more intelligent discussions here than in school, so that says something I guess...

I little arrogance never hurt anyone, it's no big deal. Same goes for ignorance. However I'd be very wary of combining the two as the effect can be odious in the extreme.

average: the mean, and if we assume a normal distribution, then also the median
smart: >1 standard deviation above the mean, but we're not asking if we're "smart", merely that we are "smarter than average"
smarter than average: average intelligence of CFC > average intelligence of the population as a whole

How about that? About 50% of school leavers go to university, so if 90% of CFC goes to university or has gone to university, then we're already above average on that metric. This clearly isn't conclusive, but it's a pretty good indication that we on CFC are, at the very least, smarter than average.

No, because most of you have denied that Lincoln had any racist sentiments whatsoever combined with a belief that Ron Paul is racist even though he has never said anything to indicate this.
