You know how on most shampoo bottles, it gives the directions "lather, rinse, repeat"? Well, the new shampoo I got just says "lather, rinse and get on with your day". It got me thinking though,. that I never actually repeated in the first place - nor did anyone else I asked. Thus this poll; do you repeat?

Only if I spent some time (days/weeks) away from civilization and my hair is all muddy and sandy.

I just lather, leave it on for 10-15 minutes while I soap my body, rinse, and get on with the rest of my day.

Yes, I usually use a little shampoo two or three times; I find that my hair becomes softer and more manageable than if I shampoo and rinse only once.

Only if I've gone more than a day without washing it. Other than that I don't see how someone with hair past their shoulders would have time to wash it more than once.

I usually just shampoo once. The only occasions I'll shampoo more than once is if my hair is really gross - swimming, camping, etc.

no, I only lather and rinse once. But, if people report that their hair gets softer, then maybe I'll start shampooing twice or thrice.

If I felt that it's not clean enough. Which means rarely.

Try conditioner instead. Separate conditioner, not the 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner stuff.

What would you rather do:
A) Not use conditioner
B) Double your shower time
C) Use 2-in-1 conditioner

The choice is clear

Rid your hair of knots IIRC

Yeah? I've never had those, except *maybe* when I had shoulder-length hair back in highschool and University.

I file conditioner under "things people want you to buy and use that you don't actually need"

It's quite helpful if you have thick hair.

Unfortunately most shampoo directions create an infinite loop, so I'm still washing my hair as I type.

My showers would be rather long even without conditioner - I've never been a quick showerer. And I've found 2-in-1 shampoo/conditionesr aren't as good as separates.

Plus I leave the conditioner in while doing other things (washing the rest of me, etc) and it's quite useful in keeping water from running out of my hair and into my eyes anytime I lean forward.

I don't understand what conditioner is supposed to do, but I use a 2-in-1 thing.
I find the conditioner makes my hair softer and nicer-feeling in general. And it gives my hair a bit more of a shine so it doesn't look dull.

I've never heard of anyone actually repeat, just a waste of shampoo, even if I'm not paying for it.....(friend works at hotel gives me free shampoo ^^)
