'I imply from the report that the NHS is underfunded'

My mind must work differently from most people. I can't learn these sorts of things by reading sentences that are correctly written but when it is reversed it seems clear. I doubt I've made these mistakes in writing a lot because they clearly sound wrong.

Speech of course is a horse of a different color. I have a friend who speaks pure redneck and writes like the Earl of Oxford.

For some the mangling of the language is somewhere between a skill set and an art form.

The thing I find offensive is when a non-native English speaker asks me if English is my second language.
