Dr.NES - The DOOM Project: The Sapphire of the Sea

Important question, doc.
Are there any bulletholes in the med bay?

@mod:
Roger will go down one deck to setup a remote cam on Deck 3 stairs when Fox team arrives. He will then return back up to Deck 4 and assist Doc McCoy as needed.

@mod I actually mean like, put the stuff needed to block the entrance nearby. Don't put it in place just yet. If a hostile is detected nearby, THEN shove it in the way and get ready to detonate the C4 under the stairs.

I'll assume he checks the walls and the general area of the medical bay:

No. There are no bullet holes, marks, or other such noticeable damages in the med bay.

Noted, thanks!

Whoops, I'm sorry. I'll adjust that, then. Consider it done.

Well, then, that blood spray just got more interesting... and where did the bodies go?

@mod, any evidence to what happened to the bodies?

@Mod: I scout the bridge to find the best vantage point for sniping/viewing the area behind the bridge without actually leaving. I become accustomed to the floor plan of the bridge, noting all entrances, exits, and windows. I check all three men who we encountered on the bridge for weapons and communications equipment. I then set up in the previously found vantage point and watch for a possible attack, all the while checking up on the three crew members.

Jarkko: Sarge...were the lights on when we assaulted the bridge? If so, we should turn them off, so no one can see us (unless the windows are tinted, but we saw the crew members from afar, so odds are they aren't).

@Jarkko: We will shut off the fluorescent lights, but there will always be a glow from the backup lights to keep the Bridge visible. As there are 3 of us and the captain and his crew being kept on the floor, any person glancing our way will see the same 3 people as before.

@Mod: Take up position near the computers. Where a captain normally stands, while always scanning the areas outside the bridge for movements. Also ask the captain to point out the starboard and port "fog" lights. (I do not know the technical terms, but I believe every ship has strong and bright lights at the bow to search the sea for potential obstacles.) I intend to use these lights to monitor the ice fields. Also if the radio starts talking, ignore it. If it is another ship radioing their positions or reporting an iceberg somewhere, make note of it, but do not reply.

@mod: any chance of determining provenience of the blood?

Unfortunately, no. It's too old.

Most of the windows on the bridge face forwards (naturally), which does not provide a good vantage point to see most of the ship. However, you notice two windows near the entrances to the bridge that provide a good view of the port and starboard of the ship, and provide an overview of the pool deck and stern stairway.

As you begin to search for weapons and communications equipment, Captain Garry has this to say: "I can assure you we are unarmed. You can see the communications equipment over there. Beyond that, we can't offer you much." The one crew member is still knocked out, while the Captain and other crew member are silently standing nearby.

You see no movement on the open deck below.

Noted. I'll provide a more detailed answer in the update.

@Jarkko: Continue to search all crew members and the Bridge for weapons. We should not rely on the word of anyone at this moment, no matter how helpful they have been.

Jarkko: I was planning on making the search anyways.

@Mod: Search the crew members and the bridge for weapons and mobile communications devices, thoroughly.

((OOC: Been on a trip, just arrived back home. I've sent in orders, hope they're on time))

(Quietly, on radio) Gabriel: ((Relaying current position)) "Please announce any incoming traffic as I have to watch both ends of a corridor and want to avoid noises. I will subdue any unannounced visitors and silence will take precedence over their condition. Please keep away unless your presence is strictly necessary."

Finn:
"Alright buddy, let's get you to a real doc." He helps the crew member to his feet and holds him up while he regains his balance.

"Fox team, let's move out. I'll take the rear and help our friend here. After all, I'm not really equipped to take point. Sarge, just so you know, I don't see any silencers in Foxtrot, so if we start shootin', we're gonna wake the baby."

Escort the crewmember to medbay, then take Foxtrot to the entrance of the engine room. Watch for traps, and watch for good places to lay traps. Recon all entrances/exits to the engine room, and look for good cover. Always have an escape route planned in case of tactical retreat.

Ulysses:

"Foxtrot do not advance into the lower decks. Your orders are to meet up with my team on Deck Four so we can plan our assault. We know nothing of the lower decks and the engine room is on deck one, that's three decks into known enemy territory. If intelligence is desired to speed up the assault, Echo team is in a far better position to deliver that intelligence. As of yet no-one has requested intelligence on the lower decks so we are falling back to avoid any potentially disastrous engagements with the enemy. I repeat do not advance into the lower decks. Echo team will provide intelligence if it is required."

It is nearing that time again.

Be sure to have any strategies or plans finalized as soon as possible. Now is the time to ask any questions you may have. Time continues on in about 4 hours.
