Dr.NES - The DOOM Project: The Sapphire of the Sea

@mod:
Can I tell what floors the elevators are at? (Lit up numbers or something) Do they currently appear active? Also, does there appear to be a way to gain access to elevator controls at this level without bringing the lifts to this deck?

@mod:
What kind of equipment and supplies are in the medcenter?

You investigate the equipment strewn around the area. There is your basic, clinic style supplies and equipment located in the medbay. Some basic first aide equipment, medicines, and other such supplies, though there isn't much in the way of intensive medical equipment.

There's supplies enough to function quite adequately as a first aide station for the team. If you ever needed to, you could restock on a few first aide or doctor kits to replenish your supplies.

OOC: Given that this is a cruise to one of the coldest place on Earth, I doubt that parents would be that willing to take small girls with them.

ooc: oh c'mon. During winter it can be minus 30 degrees + windfactor on the gulf of finland, still families take cruises on holidays, WITH THEIR KIDS. It's luxury ship, you are supposed to be inside it where it's warm and cozy.

Interestingly enough, the elevators seem disabled, like someone pulled the plug on their function. You don't see a way to activate them on this deck.

Roger:
@McCoy
Lifts are already non-functioning. We'll need to make sure nobody turns them back on without us knowing.

Any teams near to intercept the man running up the stairs? we should find out what he knows.

@Rita and Mia

Catch the man who just went upstairs, please. I have a feeling that he heard one of us.

If you want to know, I will be picking the locks off of a couple of the doors in the suites. See if there is a sign of people being taken by force there.

@Rita and Mia: Bring him down to the Medbay, please. We'll interrogate him down here.

Sarge leader of Team Alpha:

@Team Echo: Roger that Echo, Fox is on their way. Hold tight at Infirmary. I am sending an injured crewmember with Fox, I want one of the docs to look him over. We do not want any lawsuits.

@To All Teams: Attempt to find any passengers or dislocated crew. We need more information on the lower decks. The Captain is as much in the dark as we are there.

@Captain Garry:

"I am sure this may sound like a ridiculous question, but were there small children with their families on the cruise? We have reports of a small girl running around down there."

"Also, is there any way we can shut down power to certain sections of the ship from the Bridge or other areas of the ship?"

OOC: For future reference, if anyone asks a question to Captain Garry, by speaking to me via radio, automatically assume I am relaying the question to him and relaying the answer back. Thanks.

Team Fox is comprised of the following members:
'The Grin' Finn
Yuri Andreivich Rooksev
Rex
Ilya Kopronko

Fox's orders are to meet up with Bravo and Echo at the Infirmary. Bring the injured crewmember with you to see the Doc.

@Mod: I'd like to inspect the bloodstain with all of my combat and medical expertise, see if the captain's story matches up with the physical evidence. (The picture looked much bloodier and "splatterier" than just bullet wounds.)

@Captain Gerry: Is there anywhere on the ship with any more medical equipment?

@Mod: I will first check what systems are accessible and intact on the bridge before I start messing with any systems.

@Captain Garry: "I'd also like to know where the elvator controls are. It is of vital importance that the elvators are secure and can only be used when we want them to."

@Captain Gerry: What kind of "terrorists" were capable of herding 2000 passengers on this ship to the lower decks without any sign of struggle?

And does 2000 passengers even fit inside that tiny little space down there?

"There are signs of a struggle though, namely the huge blood stain...
There are probably civilian casualties.
I personally do not think that this is the work of terrorists but someone looking to make a profit, perhaps it is a rival company looking to take this corporation down."

"Also, is there any way we can shut down power to certain sections of the ship from the Bridge or other areas of the ship?"

Captain Garry paused. "A young girl?"

He nodded before continuing. "Yes. Yes. There were quite a few families with children. Ranging through all ages. I'd say there's about a hundred fifty or two hundred kids on board, though there aren't many more than that.

As for the power, here on the bridge you can only control extraneous lighting. Internal power, per deck, is controlled in Engineering."

@Captain Gerry: Is there anywhere on the ship with any more medical equipment?

You examine the blood stains in the room.

[Experience + Knowledge: Combat + Knowledge: Global + Medical = Success]

You notice two different patterns of blood stains in the room. Near the bed, the blood is "pooled," while along the walls and near the corners you notice the blood was "sprayed."

You also estimate the blood is a few days old. Beyond that, you don't have the capabilities to discern much else -- the blood is too old.

Captain Garry: "You might find some odds and ends lying about, but the infirmary is where the medical equipment would be stored."

@Mod: I will first check what systems are accessible and intact on the bridge before I start messing with any systems.

@Captain Garry: "I'd also like to know where the elvator controls are. It is of vital importance that the elvators are secure and can only be used when we want them to."

You have a difficult time entering into the ship's mainframe. You can certainly do it, but it's going to take more time to fully bypass the various security systems they have in place.

* * *

Captain Garry: "Well, there's a maintenance station located on Decks 12, 6, and engineering level, but you need a key to get into them. Besides, if they shut off power from Engineering, you can't do much at those maintenance stations."

@Captain Gerry: What kind of "terrorists" were capable of herding 2000 passengers on this ship to the lower decks without any sign of struggle?

And does 2000 passengers even fit inside that tiny little space down there?

"They have guns! They're professionals. Don't ask me. I wasn't paid to do this kind of work. Besides, I'm not sure how many hostages they have taken. They could only have a few hostages, or they could have many. I don't know."

If I haven't already radioed in the little girl, I'll tell the rest of our team about it.

"If nobody has any objections, I'd like to continue searching the deck; I think that little girl was frightened by my presence, maybe she thought I was one of the infiltrators since the rest of the civilians should've been sent down to the lower decks. Since the elevators probably don't work, she must still be on this floor or going towards a staircase. The rest of the team should double-check the way I came in, and sweep the even numbered rooms. This is going to really suck if the girl reveals our position to any hostiles on this floor."

@Everyone: Spooks is right. We certainly need to find the girl. She may be able to tell us something about what's going on. We have to check everywhere she may have hidden.

As the man running up the stairs. Bring both to the Medbay, if possible. I'd like to do a health check of them both.

@mod, I'm gonna clean up the bloodstain, don't want to upset anyone.
