 Ministry of Emergencies of Russian Federation issued an official statement

Terrible Disaster struck the Cultural Capital of Europe! Volcano near Paris! Our hearts go for poor French civilians! We are ready to send blankets! Hot food! Mobile houses! Fire extinguishers! You name it -- we got it :help:

As of January 2009 the city of Paris, within its administrative limits (the 20 arrondissements) largely unchanged since 1860, has an estimated population of 2,234,105 and a metropolitan population of 12,161,542 and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe. Paris was the largest city in the Western world for about 600 years prior to the 19th century. It hosts the headquarters of many international organizations such as UNESCO, the OECD, the International Chamber of Commerce or the European Space Agency. Paris is considered one of the greenest and most livable cities in Europe. Not anymore, we guess

It is also one of the most expensive cities. With about 42 million tourists annually in the city and its suburbs, Paris is the most visited city in the world. But after sleeping volcano got awaken Russian tourists are advised to visit less dangerous places. Like very welcoming Egyptian beaches of Port Said.

The Muslims continue to feel oppressed by their Russian overlords. Russian MIGs literally surround every part of every one of our civs... the people feel threatened on a daily basis.

Wow, did Eclipse play? This was the fastest turnout to my memory! :goodjob: I always wait for my turn so impatiently:blush:

The French have our support on this moment of crisis.

If there is anything that China can do, please let us know because we are all about helping the world! In Chinese schools 1 minute of silence was maintained in honour of the French children that died.

Mr. Putin was presented with these news, but it did not surprise him a bit. "Check total American gold", he said, "I am sure USA payed off her vassals to do mean things to us!" :twitch:

P.S. Talk about power of media! I have reported silly volcano near Paris and international support was just overwhelming. But next turn poor Benghazi was hit by powerful and silly hurricane, and nobody noticed :crazyeye:

P.S.S. I just love the new pace of this PBEM!

glad to be the late night flipper who managed to finish us with 1 day and 1 full turn pace!

oh and PS: Yes, a hurricane hits Libya and pestilence strikes Indonesia... Paris gets help from the entire world but the third world has a few disasters and nothing happens.

The Muslim Confederacy truly stands on its own right now. Right in the middle of the pending World War between Russia/China and USA/Europe. I wonder whose side we shall choose?
