I think most of south america is also at war with Turkey for some reason... Turkey keeps asking us for help, but we are a little busy right now haha.

Another vacation for me: I will be flying to sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, USA for a bachelor party weekend from this afternoon (7/26) through Sunday (7/29). Chance of me playing turns while in Vegas is nil, however I may play turns in the airports/on flights if I manage to get a wifi signal on my laptop. Worst case I will catch up on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

im back from vacay... managed to have some downtime with free internet and got through my turns and sent it along for this game. the muslims dont have much to say, two modern superpowers are trampling over a bunch of third world countries!

We all are just a few conservative innocent world leaders here 
Unfortunately, interests of the war prohibit us from extensive coverage of operations of Russian Army. Let's just summarize that Muslims are utterly, irreversibly, irrevocably, completely, totally, absolutely defeated. Since the Month of May thanks ONLY to Russian valor Confederacy lost 37 Armored units and 34 Infantry units, plus 5 Air-force squadrons. The total Muslim loses, counting those who died invading Iran and Afghanistan, those who were killed by Chinese and North Korean forces, must be much, much higher. The first Assault Army led by Osama bin Laden aiming for the last Iranian city Kerman was destroyed last month, with the loss of 3 Russian Infantry divisions. City-defender-promoted Army of General Sargon was caught right next to Ahvaz (which they were heading to defend) and was butchered down to the last man. Russian losses: zero, nil, niht, nada, ноль, 0. General Sargon himself was brutally killed as depicted at this magnificent picture, very vividly symbolizing the outstanding triumph of Russians and absolutely hopeless situation of Muslims:
Russia proudly announces that not a single Sunni Invader is left alive on the ancient Iranian soil. Much suffered city of Ahvaz, the last Confederacy possession in Iran, was liberated again, this time for good. It is very symbolic that the only building that was spared the destruction of modern warfare was the House of Justice -- famous courthouse of Ahvaz:
After the annihilation of Saudi Army amazed President Ahmadinejad finally agreed to accept back his former capital (I kid you not, this option became available only after the destruction of invaders, you always learn something new with BTS

! However consider this -- no Arab civilian was harmed so far, no city of yours suffered the fate of Tehran, Ahvaz, Kabul, Port Morsbi or Vladivostok. But sure as 70 virgins the war is coming to Arabian and Pakistani soil at last. Take a deep breath, swallow your pride, accept your defeat like a man and capitulate unconditionally. I have the turn but am holding playing it until I hear what terrible peace treaty offering from Russia/China I get. I will however load the turn to at least check out the carnage...

Vassals cannot declare wars in vanila BTS, so they just shuffling troops I guess...

So looking back at this war which will be ending soon, there are a few mistakes I made which were critical.
1) Moving my tactical nukes to Ahvaz/way too early - Obviously my best shot was to nuke the incoming Russian and Chinese stacks and then counter-swarm them, but losing those nukes without even a shot fired was a big problem. I had the ability to upgrade to a missle sub at one point and I should have taken that and fired them from the Persian Gulf.
2) I wasted my planes on scouting runs when I should have had them on intercept. Although that only would have slowed down the Russian advance ever so slightly, his planes still had numbers on mine. I do have another 6 planes ready to go by Sept 2011, but thats too little, too late. If I had moved my entire airforce to the front earlier, with upgrades to Jets, I might have had a shot. Sid Meier is right with his hints - controlling the skies is a serious advantage.
3) Should have emptied my cities and moved more troops to the front faster... in the first few turns I still had 3 units in each city waiting back, that was a waste.
4) Overall I think the Russian/Chinese horde would have still ultimately won though, those two combined is just too much for anyone to handle. Especially when they had the advantage of the "first strike" by declaring on me without warning. I was prepared to easily overwhelm Iran... not Russia
I enjoy looking back at what happened and learning from mistakes. Hopefully the peace terms won't be so incredibly harsh and I can at least survive in this game...

The twin brothers of Peru and Colombia wanted China to convert to Christianism, but China, as a free nation will continue to give religious freedom to the populace, as long as their prefered religion is Confucionism or Buddhism!
A peace between China and the Muslim Conf has occured. However, there were some border conflicts between soldiers of China and Pakistan that has escalated and forced China to declare war to Pakistan. China is confident that the Pakistanese leaders will see the errors of their soldiers and accept to pay for the medicine of the Chinese wounded soldiers.
Meanwhile, the North Korean troops (instead of conquering Kabul) prefered to look for a magical passage through the mountains straight into Tibet... the Chinese leader is suspicious of this move but is confident that Kim Jon II will continue to be a loyal friend. This is a leader that China is sure that all of Korea will cry when he is gone...
