ok, i was going to make Franz Joseph a quickie by adding the beard to to the PW90 version and fix the uniform. then i just went too far
here's a first look. comments?
Looks very good! I hope you'll add more detail to his clothes though.
Who is he based on? Is that Caesar?

But your right, like Reagan its going to take time. Mainly because he is a guy with plenty of photos so its harder to make recognizeable compared to guys that have paintings or from an earlier era and are less recognizeable. I have a decent model in works though.

I don't know... it just looks so white and empty... as if he is wearing a white t-shirt... I'll go look at that picture...
I'm back: He's got this huge cross (I think it is a cross) on his neck you could try to do... Also, according to the first pic his hair is brown and not black.
Still, what you did is very good whether you'll add more stuff or not!

not sure I can pull the cross off... but where do you see black hair. I used the brown texture from Jose San Martin
edit: it seems the screenshots are a bit degraded from in game. the white stands out better and the hair isnt as dark. From what I can tell.

I have to say this picture looks better. An I really can see his hair is brown, you're right!

I am very sad... In my new game I'm playing with Reagan on the map for the first time... I thought I was on good relations with him, and for no reason what-so-ever (that I could tell... maybe I picked on the wrong buddy of his), he declared war on ME! He came on the screen and had a very, VERY angry Ronnie look... I've never seen Uncle Ronnie so mad before... and he's at war with me... I'm very sad (personally, I refuse to go on the offensive against Reagan).

Ekmek your new Franz Josef is already available in a mod available for download now! He snuck into the Austrian Empire module... folks using the Wolfshanze Mod will either have to insert him themselves or wait till v2.86.
He means the least because I discovered who he was only a few months ago. And I already installed Maria Theresa and Metternich and if I have to choose between Francis and Franz-Josef, I think the second king is a better choice. I just have a policy of maximum three leaders per civ...

How can the founding emperor of Austria, and the guy who led Austria in it's bloodiest struggle ever, against Napoleon be insignificant? Besides, Francis I was Metternich's boss. Just because you never heard of somebody doesn't mean they weren't important.
