Elon Musk: Force for anthropic advancement or self-serving con-artist?

The "girls are fighting" bit was kinda unnecessary but not super important.

I can't decide whether or not I believe her comments here are in error more generally. There must always be more to any media exposure than she provided there.

She's got a tall order: has to sell the people that advancing workers rights is actually possible, if they vote for her. We're pretty defeatist over here. No ground was taken there.

Make your witty if slightly distasteful remark, but don't waste the opportunity for airtime it earns you with non-committal blabber.

Imo it's an excellent and memorable put-down ^^ And she delivered it with just the right expression.

You're reading too much into a clip of the day. The reporter gave her an opportunity to rub it in, she took it.

Establishment and "respectable bipartisan" Democrats are defeatist on it because they don't want to be otherwise.

I'd love to see you give a prim and proper speech on the spot.

not that ı will be able to tell the difference but the make-believe fight has covered that the US Supreme Court deciding DOGE is a federal agency and not a federal agency at the same time . A clear precedent from legal stuff for Trump being responsible for nothing if anything negative happens ; this seems to be a really coveted aspiration for "New America" . What the ruling elite shows you is not a thing that would actually hurt them .

At least one debate is settled on the personality of Melon Suk:
His desire for money is bigger than his desire for recognition.

Like @danjuno observed (metaphorically I suppose), he is the slave of his own schemes.

Word from the grapevine is that Musk is crawling back to daddy Trump.

Damn, that was too quick.
Let's hope Donald is, for one, like himself, and hold a grudge.

We all know that Trump holds grudges for dear life. The question is whether his immense need for flattery outweighs his vicious streak (and whether the Husk will toady up to him).

It's clear that Musk is the docile part in this political relationship. He is way too exposed and can be economically ruined by Trump. What does impress is just how reckless and thoughtless Musk is - posting stuff which in reality couldn't possibly harm Trump and then erasing them.

musk is still as strong as anyone in the White House , Trump included . So far they have normalized the possibility of shooting civilians and stuff , in the minds of the MAGA crowd . What one sees is the lullaby , so that there will be no alarm and there should be no civic action or whatever , because one sees they are idiots and they can't ... They are idiots , acting like it . They are smarter than anyone who calls them idiots on the internet , because this mode of control has been long in development . They haven't yet faced a situation to discover they were idiots to begin with .

the MAGA crowd knows Trump would have slept with teenagers or taken any advantage of any such thing offered to him for a price or for free . What you have seen here is proof to all MAGA supporters that sinners go unpunished and their idols are such and they can keep on this way , forever . The Spanish Inquisition would rightly burn some people in the US , if they had the chance , on charges of colluding with the devil .

There's the age factor too, Musk is 53. Not in his 70s, where many people are degraded to next to nothing, but still old enough to have been in decline for a while. While the angle of "secret genius" or at least "secret not average intelligence" is charming and theoretically possible, I don't see any actual evidence for this being the case for Musk. You can run dos games on a new pc, and even with dedicated software it will occasionally slip and go at a speed that ruins the retro impression; some people certainly pretend to be dumb when they are intelligent, yet given enough time they won't avoid messing up the part.

musk's facade is so made up , nobody will argue otherwise . The point is they are running things Goebbels like with computer programs where hundreds of people are daily controlling the timetables and orders . As always , New Turkey is instructive . Without external inputs it can't not be shaken by people it interacts with . These are the people who openly admit they do election fraud , when they arrest the noticeable candidate against the PM , so that no external inputs of a different kind will be applied because , afterall , what would be the point ? This X or A-12 kid or whatever , he might rise against Donald (or Barron if the monarch dies in the interim) but Elon and Donald are still in partnership and stuff .

For years, I have argued that the state can flex on the corporation without difficulty, but simply chooses not to.

For years, I've been told the state is bought and paid for, and has no real power.

Would seem the state got around to doing a little flexing, by mere implication, and it was enough to break a famously tempestuous billionaire with little difficulty. One gentle breeze for the state, one hurricane for Musk.

"This is fine."
