Dwenaiai would like to organise a grand tournament of physical contests on the island of Lwodeg (north-west of Bwog, southernmost of the western Dwenaiai islands) in order to honour Deoug, Edana and the gods.
This tournament would be the opportunity for champions among all the Aknar to display their strength, speed and fitness.
During all the festivities, we would ask participants to agree to a truce in case of wars, which would also allow our nations to settle quarrels while meeting in a safe place and without fearing treason, as the truce would be sworn under the names of Deoug, Edana, Dwenaiai and each city's patron deity.


OOC: I know the change has been requested, but I MUCH preferred the list of all nations in a single spoiler instead of several tags. It makes it hard to find stuff when you don't know where a nation is supposed to be and makes the browser search function much harder to use as there are more spoilers tags to open. Also when you're checking a neighbour in another group, it's confusing and hard to find it.

New Compound Words.

Azonarlin. (from Azkognarlin) are the Kthdi. They come from the Crazy Enemies because they love great lumbering horses that, for Hvagnarlin, are easy to fall off of. Hvagnarlin perfer Mountain Rams and War Boars. And much perfer their two stoutlegs on ground with an axe.

Gadnarlin (Gad will be for tricky) are the Yu, for their control of the trade routes as well as their various machines.

Sert- Large Tamed Beast (Azsert for Horses, Horsemen is Azsernar)
Au- Generically Large

These are simply translations. They often have many shades of meaning that cannot be taken over into Common.


Basic Cultural Orders
Make Halbards, which are long poleaxes that are useful in plains against Azserrnars, be they Gadnarlin or Azonarlin. Halbardiers will form egg like formations with archers and axemen inside. After a charge is broken the Axemen will counter charge in a much favorable envioment. If the Halbards are broken, the archers will cover a regroup. This will help the short Hvangarlin to heal their disadvantage at plains, esp due to their shortness that they can pack more pike tips together. (Average Hvagnarlin are 5 ft, I think Averages of that time were something like 5ft-6,)
