Ending to 2004 Dawn of the Dead

Exactly! Just think of the original Night of the Living Dead

Even after surviving tyhe entire zombie onslaught, the main character still gets shot in the head for looking too much like a zombie! Depressing and classic...

The original Dawn of the Dead was hopeful, and Night of the Living Dead at least made it clear all of human civilization wasn't doomed.

I remember seeing it in the cinema, it was just pure luck I stayed during the credits. I hope everyone who is going to see X-Men 3 remembers to stay until the end of the credits. There's a pretty important scene at the end.

Yes, the thing after the credits (I watch the credits anyway) for X-3 was crazy.

But I have no interest in watching a zombie flick though.
