Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

A thought just occurred to me: when a City State wants your trade route, the trade route icon is displayed under the CS's city banner and on the score list. Is it possible to put the icon somewhere next to the CS in the Establish Trade Route screen when you're assigning the routes? Or is that screen even modable?

Is it safe to assume that this isn't possible?
 
Community Patch Project does exactly that, so it's not entirely impossible but can be out of scope for the interface mod.

I wouldn't consider it out of scope for EUI since it would just be adding an icon to the "Establish Trade Route" Interface window.
 
it's likely an unintended side effect of the change made in beta 5, so I made a different fix in beta 6 could you please verify it works in MP (I don't have the time)

I tried beta 7 today, but it seems the orignal problem is back and not fixed. When I hover over the city name, it is my turn again, even if I clicked next turn before.

edit: if you are not able to fix this without causing other problems, leave it this way, I can live with that ;)
 
Hey, the new city ribbon is pretty sweet, but there's a litle thing that anoys me : after going in the tech screen, the panel on the upper left corner automatically opens up and shows the current researched tech, which covers the top of the city ribbon.

I understand that's something that's part of the main game, but it doesn't interact well with the city ribbon since I then have to close it every time I come back from the tech screen to see the full ribbon.

It's a small annoyance really, but if you have a way to disable that I'd appreciate it greatly :)
 
I've been using EUI for awhile now with no problems, but I've just re-loaded my computer and updated/reinstalled everything, and now I have my first issue. All of the yeilds for each tile are now food.

Civ5 Complete, PC version 1.0.3.227
Other Mods: Community Patch v66, Faster Aircraft, City-State Diplomacy v26.
I did delete the files as described, but CSD is newer now, so maybe that's a concern?

Happens at teh start of the game, all tiles are food. The yield is still separated like it will be different, but each icon is the little apple.

Edited to add the version numbers, and after testing a bit, it seems to be a problem with the Community Patch (not the Balance patch, just the AI fixes). I'll see if I can figure it out in the meanwhile

Edit: Fixed. I deleted YeildIconManager.lua and YieldIconManager.xml from Community Patch/LUA and everything is good now! This is for Community Patch 4-22, 2015.

yes you need to delete YieldIconManager.lua and YieldIconManager.xml from Community Patch (or any other mod using "DLL - Various Mod Components") whenever using with EUI
 
Im running these mods, however one or more of these mods are conflicting with the unit panel and the city banner which are gone, I've tested it without the mods and it works fine. Don't know how to figure out which is conflicting. Fortunately, I found a temporary solution by removing the city banner and unit panel from the file. Could you look into it?

Seems to be stable now and works. At least I played 4 hours multiplayer (133 turns) without problems so far.

But another question:
In options you have two slide bars to change the infoboxes. We (me and my multiplayer friends) don't want to see information like "if you build xy you get +1", because this way the infobox get very large and this information is not that helpful. That's why I put the second slidebar to 10 seconds.
But it does not work always. I will take some screenshots.

I'm not able to figure out, why screenshot 2 and 3 are different, I changed nothing.
So there are 3 kinds of infoboxes, but only 2 slidebars. Maybe you add a third?

Never mind, I found out the reason :D If you have a worker selected, you get information about the improvements you can build. In the 3rd screenshot I have a soldier selected.
Okay, I guess everything is fine with second slidebar to 10 seconds :)

  • UnitPanel: player unit list with status icons and mouse over tooltips. Units are sorted by distance to currently selected unit. Choose which unit types to include in the list: click on the >>> button to access the unit types selction panel. Your choices are saved from one session to the other.
  • UnitPanel: player city list with status icons and mouse over tooltips. Right click to center map on city, left click to enter city screen.
