The first one reminds me of a pharaoh, the what looks like scaffolding by his chin becoming that iconic beard. I'm sure it has a name. I don't know if this is intentional or not.

I think I prefer these to your previous art pieces; these look more composed and complete.

Me? oh no i didnt do these but if i practised it wouldnt take lonng to learn because its digital the real skill goes into the symbolism and using your imagination.
i dont own them either i just think there awesome but i have to agree with you the first one is of lower quality

Exactly, but like most unstructured threads here, it went to seed pretty quickly. Some of the art is what I had hoped for. Thanks to those of you that "get it".

i just think there awesome but i have to agree with you the first one is of lower quality

I looked at it enlarged, and I have to say that the detail lost in the smaller version doesn't do it justice. I particularly like the windows in the building that double for nostrils, and the pharaoh beard isn't as big a deal.

on the first one: yeah made a mistake and forgot to use the enlarged version but still although its not one of my favorites i like the idea behind it

i love the flat earth society one too bet they loved even more then i do i like how it has statues holding up the edges it was awesomely epic

I was afraid you were not joking. Okay, sure, the photos and portraits were a bit unwarranted, as was the map of Scania (though that was more Danophobia than patriotic fervour), but a) the nationalism thing is a joke (a Danish joke originally, mind you; those are infamous for being misunderstood) and b) the rest is good, or at least was supposed to be good. Also, I'm not aware that China is my nation either.

Posting things by nation can be easier since Russian, Chinese and so on art can often be singled out, and besides makes for the ease of comparison, which is interesting, as well as for the ease of future use in updates; and lastly, sad, obscure, culturally backwards little nations like New Zealand won't have much of a chance if their citizens don't go out of their way to post stuff tangentially related to them.

Seriously though what am I going to post? We were settled by the English of all people, the best English are Scots, dour bastards that they are. Think of Aotearoa's colonization as a substitution of a reality TV show like

"Your life as a nobleman - no romanticism edition"

Which is something me and Silver could relate to, replaced with

"Victorian-Eastenders"

And you get the issues... it's like watching a noble hero of old ripped down by some unthinking unfeeling automaton, it's droll, unsportsmanlike, boring, repetitive, dependable and so thoroughly English.
