I'm the lazy one? You're the one who didn't balance the game or write down all the rules, such as what constitutes as a colony or regular province. I have, what, 40 non-colonies and evidently useless islands for the rest of the game?

Today, spokesmen for the Grand Vizier Said Halim Pasha and Sultan Mehmed V both revealed that the Ottoman army will be moving to attack the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Mehmed states "The war is entirely necessary to protect and promote trade." When asked why the Ottomans would not declare war on Serbia, the Grand Vizier's spokesman told us "It is not wise to align ourselves against the EAAP, the European Anti-Agressiveness Pact. If we fought the EAAP, we would assure our own destruction and restrict trade even more!" Neither spokesman has disclosed any information about Germany. However, Germany is not directly involved in this war and has not responded to Austro-Hungary's request. For more information about this war, and why cheese is not considered a cause of this war, turn to page 7.

Serbian allies fighting against Austria:
Russia, Italy, Ottoman Empire, France, Mexico, Denmark
It is justified, however certain European want to keep peace. Just like Russia attacked in real life, Italy did instead. And since Italy was an ally of France and Denmark, it brought them and their allies in too. Its like how WWI started, except without Germany.
I have no clue why Mexico and the Ottomans declared war though.

It's called dog piling a person that is roleplaying something that happened historically in the first year of the IOT and also accusing this said player of metagaming.
Not everyone wanted to dog pile you. Russia had legitimate reason to Declare War, and so did Italy. Italy then asked France and Denmark for help. Like I said, I have no clue why Mexico or the Ottomans declared war, I am only defending my actions.

I don't understand either why the Ottomans would help a nation that stole territory from them just before the IOT started.
Sidenote: Serbia is a military dictatorship.

OOC: The Balkan wars in 1912/13 kicked the Ottomans out of Europe.

OOC: I read that as "Serbia took it from the Ottomans before they had a chance to claim it. So why should they help Serbia?" I probably misunderstood you, though.
IC: The Ottoman emperor declares that the war against Austria is partly because of trade and partly because the Ottomans failed the first time to take the country over. Now, when Austria is fighting on all sides, is the time to strike.
