I don't know if it's a bug or what, but the day the Steam sale ended, the Anthology bundle was the cheapest I've ever seen it. I was missing quite a bit, but my total was $6.72 USD and my brother, who had the Platinum edition and nothing else, was able to get it for $5.04 USD.

I was just curious and looked at my wishlist to see if anything was still on sale after the sale ended or anything new on sale and I saw every DLC I didn't own apparently 87% off! I've never seen such a discount.

Here's a summary of what all I got, and what each one cost:

Civilization VI - Vikings Scenario Pack - $0.64
Civilization VI - New Frontier Pass - $0.00
Civilization VI - Australia Civilization & Scenario Pack - $0.64
Civilization VI - Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack - $1.16
Civilization VI - Khmer and Indonesia Civilization & Scenario Pack - $1.16
Sid Meier's Civilization VI - Ethiopia Pack - $0.64
Sid Meier's Civilization VI - Teddy Roosevelt Persona Pack - $0.00
Sid Meier's: Civilization VI - Byzantium & Gaul Pack - $1.16
Sid Meier's Civilization VI - Catherine de Medici Persona Pack - $0.00
Civilization VI – Vietnam & Kublai Khan Pack - $1.16
Sid Meier's Civilization® VI: Portugal Pack - $0.64
Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI: Leader Pass - $0.00

For a total of $6.72 + tax!

If anyone is needing anything, go check it out! I'll be leading Yongle to his first victory on my behalf. :D

This is quite the deal. I'd been hoping for a Humble Bundle some day to round out what I don't have (just Platinum Edition, but no NFP or the various leader packs), but this is better. $5.04 + tax for everything I didn't have yet... no reason not to buy it at that price.

Some other good deals, too. Beyond Earth Complete Edition for $12 is tempting even though I'd probably only play one game of it. Borderlands 2 with all extra content for $8 (though oddly not 1 or 3 as far as I can tell). Sort of odd timing as it's right after we all spent our gaming budgets on the Steam Summer Sale, but nonetheless a great sale.

Update: It looks like it goes through July 25, too. They must be looking to sell all the things before the next update about Civ VII.

Beyond Earth is by far the worst civ game I've ever played. :p But if I never played, I'd probably spend $8 on it.

Wonder why this stuff would be so much on sale before the next Civ VII announcement? Hmmm

Two reasons. 1) Get people who haven't bought Civ6 to buy it and maybe they like they game enough to buy Civ7 at some point. 2) This is the last chance that Firaxis is really going to have to push Civ6 and make money off it. They've already more than made back their costs so they can offer deep discounts and still make some money on it.

Wouldn't that tend toward an early 2025 CIV 7? Because if they planned it for late 2025, they would also have christmass season to profit.
