Making a new post here to detail Goliath and the 'Vulture' UU. Goliath is VERY strong, but so are all the other Monstrous Creatures, thanks to Warkirby.

I like the looks of these a lot. Is there a reason Vultures get Fear and Goliath doesn't? Also, will these have a 'Mechanical" promotion or something similar to make them not alive?
Is Vulture the official name now?

Both are mechanical, so yes. Forgot to add Fear to Goliath... I just think that the majority of the Erebus would be terrified of a giant robot. Vulture is only going to be the name if I don't find something else better.

How giant is it?
Becouse if it is any smaller than around 10m the reaction would be:
"A big robot..."
"What now?"
"I don't know... break it?"
"Works for me."

And I am guessing you have an alternate model for that... or did chaos mana work miracles with the space time continum again.

But I agree on the fear.

I don't actually, though I'd like one..... Not surprisingly, the forums don't seem to have a steampunk robot model. Could use the Clockwork Golem, but I'd rather not as it's already used. Better a crappy model than one that could confuse people.

Also, personally, I think you should use the clockwork golem model .It would fit a lot better. This one looks too cyberpunk, and not steampunk enough.
just increase the scale, and it will be different enough.
Luchuirp hardly ever live long enough to use it anyways, so I bet a lot of people haven't seen the model yet.

I'm still rooting for Prometheus Engine.

I agree with Warkirby about the Clockwork Golem art, even if it would be a bit more confusing it would still look a lot better.

Also, I don't know how difficult it is to mess with art, so this might not be at all worth it to fix, but in the screenshot you posted it looks like Mother is a bit further 'up' from center than she should be, making it hard to judge at a glance which tile she's in.

Only thing I changed to your Monstrous Creatures stuff was the Meshabber's pedia scale... Dropped it to 0.3 from 0.6 so he'd show correctly.

Just a question, could you repaint that monster to make it look like it's made of wood and old metal? Make it more ornate.
And could you get rid of the big green stripe? It realy kills it.

It's sort of a photoshop reskin that I had in mind... could you upload the .dds file?

Since I can't reliably test it, could you check out these two?
They are a simple repaint. With no texture or anything.

Assault_Mech_256 2.dds
and

This is only test1 so if you have any input on how it works and how to go farther tell me.
I can change the color, and I can even try to dig up some wood texture or repaint diferent parts diferent way in future tests.

Tried them both, but it doesn't look that great... Would be nice if it was textured, but it's basically just a single color, with one slightly brighter than the other. Wish I knew how to take screenshots in NifSkope, I'd post one.

Press: [Print Screen], than open paint, paste it and save.


Edit: What do you think of this image? It is the test of a basic reskin with a texture, still far from finished but...
PS. Is the texture visible at all? Or does it look like a color? PPS. In case you are wondering, this is a warior...
