I have a question that may have already been answered somewhere, but I can't find it, so I'm asking. I haven't played the Austrin, but looking through the Civopedia I saw that they can mount pegasuses (pegasi?). How do you make pegasuses in the first place? They don't seem to be buildable...?

Another thing - are the Mazatli (? the good lizards) supposed to be able to build berserkers. There's a graphic for them and stuff, but it glitches and acts weird when I build them.
 
Playing through as Kahd, some comments:

1. I seem to be able to build Kahd before casting corruption/enlightenment. If I build him, I get the "greedy" version of Kah.

2. The enlightened Kahd gets Life 3, which allows him to cast resurrection bringing himself back from the grave? Perhaps Spirit 3 would be better, or Law 3?

3. Psions and thades are "living" units?

I'll have a look at the first one. The second is a random result - Enlightened Kahd has a chance of getting a random level (1-3) of several different mana-types, including Life. I think it's a diminishing chance 30% of Level 1 down to 3% of Level 3 for each sphere he can get.

The third one is a fair point - might pay to make them elementals.

Austrin archmages can summon them innately.

This one will be fixed in the next patch - Kael tidied up the art-files in the FPK and (re)moved the Berserker animations in the process. The default berserkers now use the BtS Viking Berserker anims, and the Lizard versions will too as of the next patch.

btw, xienwolf is there any plan to make a version of that great FFH2 manual that includes FF civs and general changes? the civilopedia isn't the best place to get info from. for example it really dislikes listing buildings unique for a civ in that civ's page unlike those buildings actually substitute something that anyone can get ( i.e. it displays the palace but it doesn't display the unique buildings for the chislev, so you have to go trough the buildings list to get the info you need ) . that would be really nice :D not sure about how long it would take though...
 
I've thought about it, and cannot settle on a formatting method for the inclusion of the extra information just yet. Plus... yeha, it'll take quite a while to compile everything into the manual, and I really ought to finish up the base FfH stuff first (though Landscape and Technologies/Civics are BORING and explained well enough in game anyway).
 
This will be my first post, so be gentle.... I downloaded FF yesterday and :mad: every summon i call on goes *puff* and vanishes in to thin air within .25 sec.

The result is....... no fireballs for my poor little mages...... Why?
 
They disappear within a fraction of a second. I've restarted, used different civs and updated patches, none of it has made a difference.
 
Feedback on the Cualli.. they seem pretty powerhouse at the moment. I've been playing some Pangaea maps, and every game they end up with a large empire and go crush different AI's one after the other. Maybe its the deep jungle, or some civic, but would think that having an empire that large without the tech to provide cash support for it would leave them crippled.

You need to patch the game. This is a bug I caused in the first release of 042, but solved fairly soon after.
 
Strange bug: while building usual Ljosalfar archers, all of them start as Undead, not Elves.

Do you have SOP installed? An older Scions version will do that. (The initial patch F release, I think.) The latest version shouldn't. It isn't posted in the Scions thread anymore but I've still got the "hotfix" patch for the version I suspect you're playing with.

IIRC it won't break save games. Archers already undead won't turn back, though. (The file causing the problem is the python file in the zip - if you just install it it'll prevent the U. Archer problem and definitely won't break a save.)

i've been playing vanilla ffh2 for a while and decided to try ff, but so far i'm having some issues...
don't lnow if it's been mentioned before, but all of my ff games play well until around turn 200 and then i have random ctds.
btw love the mod and the modmod.
 
fire spreading is related to the hell terrain and the ac, right?
in one of my games, the ac was at around 20 and the infernals had not been summoned.
oh, and thanks for the quick response btw

EDIT: sorry, just saw acheron burning some malakim lands... thought i had deactivated him...
