Her shirt complains about issues way out of proportion, and trying to equate feminism into a white vs non white thing is kind of annoying.

Says the guy with a Che Guevara avatar and "fighting liberal elitists" user title? Her shirt complains about issues way out of proportion, and trying to equate feminism into a white vs non white thing is kind of annoying.
What if she's into choking and bondage scenarios? Then she can ask for it (as in, actually ask for it).
What's the problem with her shirt?
Ah yes, reddit. Truly known for its sympathy to the plight of women.I think the woman is using the shirt as irony, but the the one who linked to the photo isn't. You should read the reddit I got that link from, via google and via another website.
reddit is like 90% men, don't kid yourself (and infamously sexist). It is disingenuous to suggest that Facebook and reddit have similar demographics.... seriously? All sorts of people use reddit. You might as well overgeneralize all of Facebook as 'anti-woman'

Is feminism something that can be empowered independently of actual women? Which, historically, capitalism has no particularly great record at empowering.Sub-discussion: Did capitalism empower feminism?

Isn't that exactly the extent that everyone is entitled to?The extent that women are actually empowered, I'd say, is the extent to which they've empowered themselves.
