John Marchman's moved his way through the forests two provinces south of the Tribe slowly. He looked at the spear in his hand. It was a spear but by the looks of it, it can only get one good hit in before breaking.
Shuffle.
He turned around but was too slow. The two bandits tackled him and started beating the mess out of him. Marchman's scouting party saved him and and Marchman is ok, albeit, with a few bruises. The scout leader decides to return north to warn Chief Real (will arrive back in two turns)
There's some good news back in the Tribe however. Aiken Drumn's pet piglet is adorable. And trained. Making it the first domesticated animal of the Tribe. He also hosted a quick sparring tournament and won. The prize was the piglet so he's happy about that. Jason Wayne came in second and won a nice share of Aiken's mead that he made.
Jason Wayne tried to make a shield and while he got the "shield" part down, he had a problem finding a good vine to slide his hand through to hold the shield. Overall, its workable for now but not anywhere near perfect. His suggestion to move south and "plant crops" in the spring was met with confused resistance by the hunters and gatherers alike. The Hunters claim that there's plenty of bounty in the forest while the Gatherers say that planting food and growing them like berries and fruits grow on the bush is impossible. (I.E, it's going to take more convincing)
Ytrini Mpele cooked the gazelle he caught which is good because its almost time for more food.
Chuck Norris spent his time recuperating. It seems that his ribs will heal nicely but with the ill-effect that he gets winded easier than he use to.
In a truly WTH moment, Mr. Red carried off the woman he had fought against Jason Wayne for. Needless to say, the Tribe is confused by the girl's father is pissed. Chief Real has ordered Mr. Red to return the girl or face exile (if he returns her, he won't punish him).
George Frideric Handel merely gathered berries, laughing at the idiocy going on all around him.
