Just want to say the Filthy's 2nd game shows how great wonder Great Library is for Rome. Rome has tons of culture early if you expand somewhat quickly (which he didn't), so you can completely neglect science from the beginning and beeline to Recorded History (which is easy, since you beeline Political Philosophy anyway). Then you just need to build quick Campus/Library just before that, put in Corvee policy (15% towards wonders) and boom - if done right, you can boost 7-8 techs easily.

The ambience sounds in this game are so good that I cannot describe it. So much better, so good. A pretty important detail, which sucks you in right away like a vaccum cleaner.

Combat AI looks like it's taken some pointers from the community balance patch, which indeed did make the AI much better at hunting you down. I eagerly await seeing how the game plays on higher difficulties, and how it will play with some inevitable minor tweaks at Prince level between this press release and final game release.

Also, Victoria's tantrum is awesome.
