I've got no idea (especially seeing as how long I've been using my custom-brewed soundtracks), but I have a vague feeling it'd be a movie from before my time.

Wait, wha? My second guess was gonna be if it wasn't before my time, it'd be Pan's Labyrinth (not really a children's movie, but some people don't figure that out until it's too late), but... I would love to trace the line of thought that ended with the soundtrack for a movie with talking penguins giving something to FfH.
I'd wager that blasts my Balseraph wild guess out of the water. I know Decius and the Hippus both get their theme from somewhere I can't spell to save my hide. The Illians are accounted for, AoI. *Scratches head.* I'd not know where to begin, but I intend to follow this question out of sheer curiosity; you have my attention.

I think the movie is Happy Feet, but didn't see it and don't know the music.

I thought it was "Happy Feet" at first, too, but that was released in 2006. "March of the Penguins" was released in 2005, originally in French. Morgan Freeman does the English dubbing. It was a penguin documentary that was dubbed to impose human family values on penguin mating. Or something.

By the way, I knew nothing of these movies until this trivia thread. Thanks a lot, Kael.
