FfH2 Bug Thread

Same issue with Tablets of Bambur in civilopedia. There's nothing and if you zoom out you get a huge "red" veil covering the pic.

Are Code of Junil and Temple of Order supposed to have the same model?

they don't, they are just very similar. it's the same for the AV temple and the stigmata, and a couple others.

Darn.

The reason I did this is its very easy to copy the Blue Marble textures into your FfH directory if you prefer them. I used to think that would break multiplayer, but it doesn't. So Id rather have people use that route then distributing BM with each build.

Playing Patch Z the Scenario "Black Tower". If my Golems cast Fireball inside a city they and the fireballs get kicked out of the city from time to time and move to an adjacent tile. Not the best defense strategy :D.

E: Sometimes the Golems get even kicked out if they just defend...

P.S. Please dont remove Blue Marble!

did you try it against anything other than barbs or animals?

I haven't yet, that is probably the issue. Thanks for the help and the timely reply, and sorry for what may have been a 'noob' question - I don't have nearly as much experience with FfH2 as most of you do.

Arathlan - thanks for your reply as well.

Hi, I'm playing Nikis-Knight's 19 civ huge map currently set to marathon. Its turn 1112 and the Lanun just cast raging seas which immediately brought on a CtD. It seems to be some kind of memory error. On my system I have 2 gig of mem and upped my virtual memory to 4 gig but the problem persists.

The save file is like 2+ meg so I can't upload it. Any suggestions besides editing out the Lanun?

Python error log is turned on and it seems to be dumping stuff into a \\WARLORDS\\ASSETS\\PYTHON directory. Is that normal?

For some reason the Tower of Mastery victory condition will not work for me.
The first time I found this problem I was playing a normal game. So to make sure that I didn't just accidentally have it turned off I started up a new game and used WB to set myself up for another Tower of Mastery victory but just like before nothing happened.

(I apologize but i could not figure out how to enable the python pop ups)

is the victory delayed a few turns after you build the Tower of Mastery???

Change your game options to med graphics resolution and turn off high detail terrain, quit the game and reload. That worked for me when I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago.

Oh, that's good! Thanks :).

Load the mod, click on Single Player, then click on Custom Game and that will take you to the Custom Game setup screen. In the lower-right of the screen is the Victories section, which lists all the possible victory conditions. Any that do not have an x are disabled. To enable such a condition, click on the box to add an x.

Removed heroes? Naval units? What? :D

Look at the date. I've read newspapers claiming that global warming is threatening us in a new way by causing the groundwater to rise.

Yea, that was a good one. ^^

Sigh, nowadays the first of april has a tendency to expose all the brainless drones who will believe everything a newspaper tells them.

Also damn good work on those long expected AI improvements! I cant wait to play it!

FFH2041 changelog said:
8. Removed all non-Barbarian heroes (the AI doesnt use them well).
9. Removed all water maps and naval units (for the AI).
10. Removed plains (whats the difference between plains and grassland anyway?).

Just to make sure it will remain in history!!

You would be amazed how long it can take to recognize an April Fool's Joke after an all-nighter. I'm never staying up all night on March 31st again, homework be damned...
EDIT: *offers up brief prayer that he won't be skewered for chatting in the bug thread... gods, I need some sleep.*

those jokes were too strong for believing. More subtle "removings" could had work. Like removing barbarian heroes or at deity level AI as a bonus gets in water submarines.

Kuriotates get yellow air submarines for a UU then.
