To Scandinavia, Frans, Rest of Europe
From the Grand Duke of Cooldom

The peoples of Greater Poland still see no evidence that you will leave us alone once Germany is carved up, even after begging for mercy your nation still seems bent on attacking them, they asked us for aid, we will give it. Just because you don't want us to be involved is not a good reason as far as we can tell.

If you want us to leave you alone diplomatically, leave Germany alone physically. It is very simple. Merciless killings of the German people just strengthen our resolve to not suffer the same fate. Germany is our neighbor and friend, the rules of moral decency say we help that nation, whether or not Scandinavia or Frans is opposed to it.

I say this to the rest of Europe, after Germany it will be Greater Poland, then it will be another country, then another, then another, mercilessly slaughtered by a warmongering people. Once they are the only ones left, what survivors your country may leave shall die in the next war where these powers turn against each other.

Hey Finmaestro! You forgot my expansion/anything to do with Ireland (I had a vast section of my orders dedicated to it,and it disheartens me to see this)

Metaliturtle...You're so OOC in your diplomacy that it makes me sick.

To: Poland
From:Scotland

After recieving your message,I am induced to think of you as a whining bafoon. Why do you whine to Europe? Can you not tackle your own affairs?Should Scandinavia try anything against us,we would crush them!Maybe you should adopt a similar attitude so that Europe can stop looking at the king of newly formed union of Poland as a sissy.

To:Scandinavia and Frans
From:Scotland

HAHA!These new unions and their mouthy rulers!

to Scotland and Scandinavia:
Join me in my diplomacy to Poland... and tell them..

to 'greater' Poland:
Shut up :D

ooc: dunno why but this is getting fun...

@Amon: u never mentioned Ireland, actually, u just spoke of "invading land". Since your men didn't know which land to invade, they got confused and ended up not invading anything ;)

But I'll give u an expansion boost for next turn as compensation.

@andis: no you didn't. justokre seems to be the only one who has send orders.

ATTENTION!

I hope that everyone will pay close attention to the next update, because it will most likely include some major rule changes! (I want to make this NES look more like.. back in the old days)

Actually.. I'm going to ask your opinion about the rule changes I've been thinking of!

Tell me what you think of this:

-you can grow stuff either once, twice or three times depending on how good your economy is (i.e. u have 1-3 "spending points", except that there are no more spending points, except maybe in technology.. training, education etc.. will be grown by one level at a time).
-everytime you grow something, your economy goes down a level.
-you can't grow anything else if you grow economy, but once you do, it gets up a whole level, I.e. no more points on economy, only levels

This is kinda like a combination of today's system and the system used some couble of years ago. Would you become very unhappy if I included this system as part of the game?

This would also lower the level of micromanagement both you and me would have to do.

Frankly I like things the way they are.

well rtor2 or any other fresh start from those ages. that's the type of game I'd want this to be. but if ye won't like it, then I'll leave things the way they are. it just bugs me how slowly things develope, since nobody is really concentrating on technological advancement (except for a couble of nations), I thought this might also speed things up a bit..

I like the pace the way it is, and if the Africans will try to take over the world with their high tech armies, it will only make things more interesting. ;)

OOC: ...Africans, pillars of enlightenment on a dark planet.

Story: The Bronze of Eygypt
Fwd: Turkish Empire, Carthage, Frans, Persian Empire, Yawaya, Astrakhania, United Geneven Tribes(NPC), Morocco(NPC), (and any in the medituranian-black sea area that I missed).

Eygypt was possibly one of the super powers of the anchint world. with single minded devotion, the sam devotion that helped them discover how to breed horses in the royal stables, along with how to ride and tame them, along with several other animials. They, and they alone, had first discovered bronze, and Kunafu the VI had used theis adavantage to claim his queen, Indira of Nubia, for his own. his nation had entered an era of prosperity and power unlike any other. and he was about to take an action that would make his nation porsper even more. secretly, he dispached some merchents to the nation he knew of, and possibly byond. he would sell this new technolagy, and reap great rewards. his nation would rise to even greater status, and all would know the glory fo Eygypt.

OOC: okay, I'm selling my tech. PM your offer to me, and I'll total them up. if the total is large enough, I'll PM you all back Saturday morning (6AM, (currently 10AM thrusday), telling you if the offer was accepted or not.

I'd say one doesn't just 'sell' a technological era, as it consists of thousands of techniques, skills and knowlegde. You could get it to a nation you are closely interconnected with as hundreds and thousands of craftsmen and the like interact, but a few merchents transfering the knowledge is unlikly.

Incidently I like the current rules :)

they are only just the scouts. they are off see if said nations are inturested int he technolagy, and if so, tell me. They would send a few of their top caftsmen to study ours, learning how to make it. they would go back and teach it to their sons, and their sons would teach it to their sons these are 50 year piriods, remeber?. meanwhile, I would be selling Egypt produced bronze goods to them, so they could enjoy the benifits quickly (and that is where I get the SP's from)

In this game, you are allowed to sell technology.

Alright, we will stick with current rules at least for the time beingl

((OOC: Poland just completes two marvels of technological prowess!

1. Poland launches a rocket to the sun, they hope to catch it by surprise by launching at night!
2. Poland completes stealth submarine complete with screen doors to cut down on wind resistance!
3. New Polish project announced to ignore the Panama Canal and just take a submarine under North America!
4. Polish invent new system for screwing in lightbulbs! One Pollack grabs hold of the bulb, and six others pick him up and spin him around until it is firmly screwed in.

Just a little something to lighten the mood
End OOC))
