Well, essentially give some dust and make the flag with a canvas texture.
can u do that to all the other flags for the nes? :D
I can do so, but I won't. Instead, I'll tell everyone how they can do it themselves. It's simple.

(Step 0. Acquire the GIMP.)

Step 1: Open the image in Gimp.
Step 2: Open the "Python-Fu" menu.
Step 3: Select the "Alchemy" submenu.
Step 4: Pick "Clothify".

Enjoy the Gimp! There are lots of other nice effects you can use for a flag.

No one liked my new Provincial Israel flag? :( Ah well. Oh Azale, that one is really good. Nice for a Communist America.

Here are updated versions of the two that were most screwred up. The first is for Israel (the kingdom/nation, not province). I totally re-vamped this one. At the center is a gold magen david, the national symbol. The star is the center of a gold fringed purple stripe with the gold being an extension of the bases of the two triangles forming the magen david. The purple stands for the monarchy. In each corner in another magen david with each one representing one of the ethno-cultural groups in Israel (besides the Israelites). Starting with the canton and running clockwise, they represent the Palestinians, the Malagasy, the Kurds, and the Byzantines/Romans/Italians. In between the stars run two gold stripes. The field is dark blue, the shade is the national color of Israel.

The second is the Province of the United Regions of Italy (Clabria, Puglia, and Bassilicata). The field is a tricolor with each band repersenting a different region. Running right to left they represent Basillicata, Puglia, and Calabria. At the center is a circular tricolor of the pan-Italian colors (Italian in OTL). In the center band of the Italian tricolor is a simple crest depicting a Judean lion under a city gate on a purple field. The Judean lion is a royal symbol, as is the color purple. In canton is the gold magen david for Israel.

Forgive me, as I am a technological incompetant, but I can't figure out what the heck to download from that site...

If you using windows go to the GIMP for Windows on the left hand side bar. After that you get a nother page, click on downloads. From there you need the GTK (I think that's what its called). After that downloads choose the most advanced GIMP that your computer can take. I was also confused when Erik first refered me to it, but I figured it out eventually.

The first flag is a redone Inner Byzantium flag. The main change is with the crest. The black double headed eagle with Israelite shield has been replaced with a white double headed eagle bearing an East Orthodox/Byzantine shield. The gold magen david has been placed in canton.

The second flag is a redone Kurdistan flag. The old crest that I was using for Israel has been removed. The circle containing the Kurdish trricolor has been shifted closer towards center. Also, the crest has been changed to only the falcon holding the sun rather than the flaocn holding sun inside fo a sun. The golden magen david has been placed in canton.

About the British Israel flag Stalin posted. The one posted appears remarkably similar to a number of proposed alternate flags to the current one. Many flags were proposed in the early days in place of the Zionist flag which was later adopted. Flags of the World has several good pages with images on the topic. As for a name, you could call it the Israeli Dominion, the Dominion of Israel, of the Israeli Dominion of Palestine. Including the word British seems unecessary since other British dominions, like Canada, do not include the word "British" or "Britain" in their name.

true.... altough i wonder if a world w. Central power victory would really help towards the stablishment of such at all.

The first flag is that of Socotra and the Maldives. I moved the crest closer to center. I also removed the old Israelite coat of arms. In its place I put the gold magen david which is placed in canton.

The second flag is that of Madgascar and the Malagasy Islands. I have moved the crest closer to center and removed the old Israelite coat of arms. In its place I have added the golden magen david, placed in canton.

XD. That made my last five minutes, MjM. ;)

In any case, I want to know if there's some way to make the flags flutter... EDIT: As in, appear fluttering. Not actually moving on screen, but, you know, wavy. And then incorporating them into a drawing.
