It still is homogeneous enough to work (except for the ensigns, but different standards and canons apply there). It would've been silly had they also tucked in a swastika or a hammer-and-sickle in the corner for laughs; as it is all they have is a star or several stars, which makes sense, although it is a somewhat ugly flag.

Might anyone have an idea of what the symbol of a future wacko religious sect could look like? The Church of the Sacred Soul wants absolute "purity" and resents any human modification, let alone intelligent machinery. Their teachings are somewhat of a combination of nazis, Al-Qaeda and Fred Phelps boiled together in a pressure kettle.

If anyone has a good idea, the symbol should be 100x100 pixels and use preferably just two or three colours.

This is just a ten second test piece to show you how it would look (hence the pixilation)



Color scheme: Represents the purity (white) in an impure world (black). Alternate possible color schemes: Green (appealing to "natural"), yellow/red (appeals directly to "sun cross" imagery)

Circle: Represents unity both of group and of human body
Cross: Religious imagery

Alternately it could be seen as a sun-cross, which is a pre-Christian cultic symbol allowing for more ambiguous religious identification. In this case it would still have the unity symbolism but would be more closely identified with the sun and non-Christian roots. Bonus would be it is used in some white supremacists groups (tying into your “Nazi” strand of the religion) without the obvious negative connotations that a broken cross would convey.

Inspired by The Strategos's simple design I developed another with a bit more distinctive cross.. wait, it's a sword.. no, not actually, it's a cross but it... nevermind:

In the last design I added blood to replace sin inside the circle of the chosen ones.

Which of them looks best?
