Florida conservatives fight transgender restroom rule

No, they already feel like they are the opposite sex. That's the point.

And not every transsexual gets the bits switched.

It's not (originally) the trannies that are uncomfortable, it's the bigot prudes that want them to feel bad about themselves. If everyone in the bathroom treated you like a pervert or a freak, you'd be uncomfortable too.

1. Did you even read what I said? Does the terms pre op and posy op mean anything to you? Well if you go back and read what I said you will see that I narrowed down the argument o the pre op king of transsexual and it is those that I focused on.

2. Well I would be uncomfortable with sharing a urinal with some one who looks like they are the opposite sex, but still has there male member still attached. Since they have chosen to live there lives as a woman they should go to the toilet as a woman, otherwise they are not being true to themselves if they say that they want to live life as the opposite sex, then be fully that or not at all and this would not be a problem at all

I think you're seeing disagreement here where there is none - pre-op transsexuals want to use the restroom that they would if they were post-op. Simply put, the individual who still has a penis but otherwise appears female logically wants to use the women's restroom. The law in question allows the opposite interpretation as well, though:
Article said:
The dark ad came from opponents of a gender identity provision added last year to the city's anti-discrimination ordinance, which now allows the city's roughly 100 transgender residents to use whichever restroom they're most comfortable using.
It's my sense that VRWC and Harbringer want individuals with penises to use male restrooms, no matter if they appear/dress female or not.

Wow, how surprisingly rude of you! I never would have expected that tone from you.

Yes, I read what you said. That's why I replied to it. I do in fact understand the terms pre-op and post-op. I'm not sure you read what I said. Those terms only apply if an "op" is involved. Here, I'll say it again. Not every transsexual gets the bits switched. As in ever. They're not pre-op or post-op, they're no-op, since there's not going to be any switching. You don't consider yourself pre-op, do you?

So you'd be uncomfortable. I'm sorry to hear that. Luckily for us, you're not the decider when it comes to other peoples' sexual identities, nor are you an authoritative judge on whether or not someone is being true to their self.

As for "this would not be a problem at all", people bending themselves into your standards isn't some kind of Sola Solutio. I'll just quote Mac again.

So the trick is to not be stupid or rude about the whole restroom thing.

If people could do that, this would not be a problem at all.
