Would a lot of the hardcore Paul supporters really vote for Mitt anyway? I wouldn't.
Are you being obtuse, or did you just not read the newsletter in question? He doesn't just protest the (thoroughly imaginary) threat of the expulsion of South African whites, specifically calls for the establishment of a whites-only state. If an American politician made the same demand- demanding that Alabama be made whites-only and all the blacks driven out at gunpoint- wouldn't you consider that racist?I am not a RonPaulite, but I do have to bring up some very important problems with calling that statement racist. Considering the whites in South Africa have been there for 3+ generations on average, they are African, just as we are American, and any questions about removing them is racist. The Paul statement is clearly calling world leaders hypocrites.
I think you're getting them mixed up with the Nation of Islam or something, because the Maoist(!) BPP never expressed any genocidal views.
The Black Panther Party that existed during the civil rights movement never advocated genocide or violence against white people. Aside from shoot outs with police and some fatal internal enforcement they never targeted anyone for the sake of racial violence. Maybe you're confusing the "New Black Panther Party" which pushes an entirely different ideology than their namesakes did.
The Nation of Islam on the on the other hand... Though most people would not include them in the civil rights movement.
H. Rap Brown said:Huey Newton is our only living revolutionary in this country today...He has paid his dues. He has paid his dues. How many white folks did you kill today?
A vote for anyone but Mitt in November (assuming he locks up the candidacy) is a vote for Obama... Guess you don't mind his policies that much.Would a lot of the hardcore Paul supporters really vote for Mitt anyway? I wouldn't.
Given that you just linked to the wiki page on the Black Panther Party without any qualifications, I can't help but feel that you're just trying to cover your ass at this point.1968, at the Free Huey rally:
Now then, as a whole the BPP did not generally advocate white genocide; there were elements of the BPP with incredible enmity towards whites, however, which makes it comparable to the most militant elements of the Pan-African Conference, going back to amadeus' point.H. Rap Brown said:Huey Newton is our only living revolutionary in this country today...He has paid his dues. He has paid his dues. How many white folks did you kill today?
Correction: a vote for Mitt is a vote for Obama. I [do] mind his policies, which is exactly the reason I won't vote Mitt.A vote for anyone but Mitt in November (assuming he locks up the candidacy) is a vote for Obama... Guess you don't mind his policies that much.
It's possible, but I wouldn't expect it.Or, do you think a 3rd party candidate is going to sweep to victory against all odds?
Please explain to me a scenario where a 3rd Party Candidate sweeps to victory... a realistic scenario that is.
Please explain to me a scenario where a 3rd Party Candidate sweeps to victory... a realistic scenario that is.
Come on... Hillary would swoop in to save the day.Newt is the Republican candidate, Michael Blumenthal is the independent, and Obama dies in September.

And I was doing quite the same. So let's try to be consistent, here. The Wiki page that I linked to has that exact quote on it. My point was, and remains, that elements of the BPP, itself a group born of the civil rights movement, were extreme enough that they called for the murder of whites.
Wholly analogous to the more militant arms of the Pan-African Congress, in amadeus' words, whom he used to characterize the entire anti-apartheid movement. It's misleading and I was pointing that out.
And I was doing quite the same. So let's try to be consistent, here.
You're defending the guy who planned and encouraged people to dress as KKK members. useless you're clearly the racist here, since you run to their defense so speedily in your effort to defame and lynch Ron Paul. Also, since you're now calling out racists, when will you call out Ron Paul?
I proved he wasn't the man they were talking about.
Maybe you should actually bother to read what I typed.
MEANWHILE

Because you can't let a gem like this disappear people.
Barring Paul receiving the GOP nomination, I will swing my support and financial backing to Gary Johnson, who is running on the Libertarian ticket. I suspect millions of Paul supporters will do the same.Would a lot of the hardcore Paul supporters really vote for Mitt anyway? I wouldn't.

The newsletters have been thoroughly debunked. Are you perpetually slow in regards to information gathering or do you omit facts that don't align with your version of the story? You are blatantly disingenuous on the topic of Ron Paul.
