While that may sound like a claim of some sort of superiority, in truth the Baltic looks like a truly horrible place for a submarine. Operating along an Atlantic or Pacific coast with a huge ocean at your back would be a whole lot easier. Stealth is put to a much greater test when you operate in constricted waters.
