Today Poles all over the world celebrate their Constitution Day, after the one from 1791.
It is worth noting that this constitution, though shortlived, was the first modern European codified one. Thus, though short-lived due to the political situation, it stands as an important milestone for the development of modern democracy and is still a strong symbol for the Polish people's struggle for liberty through their turbulent modern history.

So to all Polish posters: Happy Constitutional Day!
