I'm Canadian. I look at the world and issues from a Canadian viewpoint. We have hate laws here that say there are things people are not allowed to say or do in public (they can be as hateful as they want in their places of worship or in their own homes).

When someone gets up in church (or some other place of worship) and starts preaching about "sin" and quoting passages about executing people (stoning was the method used, I believe), that's advocating violence. Anyone who supports such preaching is basically preaching the same thing themselves, as far as I'm concerned.

Well, you did an excellent job of deflecting. "Desiring censorship" isn't the same thing as "existing censorship" which exists in safe spaces.

I don't have any idea what that has to do with gay people being "born that way" or even why it matters if they are or aren't.

However, what I can tell you is that gay people are human, and like many humans, imperfect. Some of them are even murderers, just like straight people. Tom has more at the news desk, but first, water is wet!

So you don't accept that homosexuality is genetic, rather than "chosen"? Maybe you think that people can also choose their skin color (not talking about tans, whether natural or fake). Or how about the color of their eyes. I'd like to be a few inches taller, but naturally instead of via high-heeled shoes. Maybe I should just "choose" to grow another 6 inches or so.

Funny (in a sad way) that you appear to be claiming that anyone who harms a gay person must also be gay. I guess that anyone who harms a blue-eyed person must also have blue eyes and secretly hate having blue eyes, so they want to stamp out all other blue-eyed people.

Honestly, these ideas are just weird.

Of course there are some instances of gays harming gays. There are many instances of non-gays harming non-gays. What is your point?
