I think the fact that this ship is on fire is the least of it's problems.

Spoiler Huge Image :

ROM:AND Mod. The Frigate is selected, while being garrisoned in an unhappy city founded on a peak/mountain.

I definitely don't want to be on deck of that ship.

Mate: "Uh... captian... we have a problem here..."
Captian: "Arrr... just help put out this fire!"
Mate: "We are dangling 12,000 feet in the air!"
Captian: "Uh... don't move. I think I lost a contact lens somewhere"
*Captian walks towards the port end of the ship, the whole rig topples over*

What tech? "Bottled Oxygen", or "Sherpa Guides"? :)

Yeah Algebra allows making cities on peaks in ROM (I never was in need to use it yet), but also Mountaineering (req. Invention and Engineering) allows passing through peaks and build improvement on them (mines, windmills, etc - so I use it quite often).

Look at the unit "lights" over the worker trio. :)

And...Wilhelm is free!...and...Wilhelm is a vassal again! All in the span of one year!

My network is lagging on big png files. It would be better for me if you use jpg file format in future (with a few percent quality reduction) ;) What mod you playing by the way?

For some odd reason...

Algebra.

Yeah... :crazyeye:

Now I guess it is because Algebra is Weapon of Math Destruction.

Also one screen grab. It is not much funny (sorry guys - but interesting), but two of my cities passed 100 in size and they still growing.

civ418c.jpg

Also I noted that game creators not predicted that someone will mod game so much to allow cities grow to 100 or more, as number now is bit on the circle where is placed.

Argh, I should have listened better in Algebra, then I would be able to build cities on mountains!

Was it a mod, or was there a reason Mutal got that big?

Graphics of this city looks interesting, like there only plain buildings and nothing else build in that. Also 57 is not so huge comparing to my ROM+AND+HAND >100 pop cities. Well 79 now because I was build now Ascension Gate (-30 pop in all cities - scientific victory points for Mastery, golden age +100% length, golden age start)

Top 5 cities before Ascension:

Top 5 cities after Ascension:

Graphs change:
Spoiler :

Note huge loss of normal score (about -5725 points), Gnp twice, as few turns ago I changed civics to M.A.D. (military) and Economy to green from free market. Also huge crop yield lost, but I think cities will now grow very fast, as they pop +1 every turn because of huge food surplus in storages. Now I get +252 points in one turn, so 22 turns and I should have my 15k normal points back :)

Rosy really really wanted that third Crab, so he called for Settlers brave enough to go "behind The Wall"...

More zombie units.... it gets even worse, it defeated the warrior that was whiped in that city a turn afterwards because it got a promotion and had 2.2 health

This is an unusual oddity you don't see often. A grenadier attacks and captures a city... and his supporting army runs to another city 3 tiles away!

(Attack was from the north, from the Rice)

Spoiler :
This is how it happened.

I don't have open borders with the Aztecs, so when I captured the city, the tile my soldiers were on was no longer within a German cities cultural control, so the tile was reassigned to the Aztecs (who had a city nearby, and 4% control of the tile). Since the tile was adjacent to the city, the reassignment happened immediatly, meaning my army was suddenly on foriegn soil without open borders... and had to leave for the nearest friendly tile.

I still don't know why that nearest tile was *that* city... I thought they would be pushed to Amsterdam...

[Edit] Wait a second... 2 S of The Hague is also a valid target ... and 1 S is both closer AND a friendly tile!! So I *don't* know why they ran all that distance. I don't mind however... I was going north anyway :P[/Edit]

[Edit2]Oh, and this gem of a random event. The founding father of the United States of America, after dismantling the oppressive Republic and it's loyalties to the rich and powerful, after spending a lifetime spreading democracy to thier small but growing nation ... doesn't even last a single term in his own government.

Top two messages read:
* The American President is facing impeachment
* Washington adopts Democracy

My engineers have reached a new low in aquaduct construnction...
