Funny Screenshots: Part Deux

In 420 AD my religion advisor came to me and said : "I bring grave news my king. Cos I have just spoken with the council of the Seers, and they all have the same vision : Total Annihilation of the Holy Roman Kingdom."
Then my military general spoke "Sire we have an urgent situation. Our Byzantine neighbourg to the north have long time amassed a great army and last year the Ottoman to the west have moved all their able warriors and siegemachines to our border. We must do something! Call our allies! Smith swords, hammer armors, train elephants!"
Vincentz the Ruler (aka: the Foolish, the "didnt see it coming") replied : "Nah, dont worry. Nothing's going to happen".
That was the last entry in the history of the Holy Roman Kingdom. Historians have later discussed what happened next, but they all used the same term : Total Annihilation.

I actually almost made it, and if I had thought about it 10 turns earlier I believe I could survive. I declared war on byzantine, and let his SoD come to my city which were heavily fortified. Unfortunately the Ottomans declared war on me the turn that byzantine got the last citydefense bombarded, but the city survived and hasnt it been for the Otto SoD taking my capital, maybe, and only just maybe, I could have continued.

Hmmmmm. A lot of these jokes topics oscillate between the AIs stupidity and obscure pop cultural referances. The disguised rants are also quite boring, tripe, overdone, redundant, not well disguised, and whiny

I've been taking a few screen shots recently when something amuses me but I haven't got around to posting them. Let's see if I can get a few of them up here over the next few days.
This one floored me. When I saw the "get that copper resource" quest I thought maybe there would be something useful at the end of it because I'd never seen this one before. But when I achieved the quest, I got this:
Excuse me? Did you say macemen? What is it about this screenshot do you think that tells you I'm not really excited by that reward?
Having rolled on the floor in laughter I thought maybe, just maybe that was a mistake, but no. It was really macemen:
I was thinking "What am I supposed to do with these guys? Stick those spiky metal balls they're carrying in the guns of my assault mechs for extra damage or something?
In the end I upgraded them all to mechs at about 370 gold each...
