or just grab it when you get rifles (or marines for that matter) and use it as a bastion of defense

Also, assuming I calculated correctly, that had about a 3.44% chance of happening. Great luck, but not unbelievable luck unless your units also didn't even get hurt much.

Like Yudishtira, I had also thought it would have been lower. So, perhaps not all that impressive, but I don't think I've ever won 7 straight <75% battles before. :crazyeye:

And you didn't this time, either. Only 6.

Gosh where's your sense of fun :p

If your a high end optimal player, then yeah, it's worthless. But I'm not one of those, soooo-

Too bad it wasn't earlier and Moai wasn't available. It kinda does look like it might be a fun little spot to do something with (challenge wise).

Welcome to Erebus, a land of magic and myth... and floating scrub in the clouds above a mountain..

Hmnn. Looks like Ethne's adepts have been up to their college pranks again.

Ooh, Mechanos. Those guys are fun. Never understood the refined mana thingie though.

I think it's magical oil or something.. The thing is most civs in FFH I can look through their UUs or civilopedia entries to find out which tech path is the best.. ie Amurites you go for magic, Illians you start White-Handing everyone.. but the Mechanos seem all spread out..

Incidentally I've been thinking about a catchall fantasy mod where you could play as say Gondor, or Narnia, or whatever. If you guys'd be willing to at least provide ideas and let me bounce some of mine off of you I'll start a thread when I get back from New Mexico in a few weeks

here are my ideas so far:
Spoiler ideas! (Really big) :

Magic and Myth... Future and Fantasy...

-CIVS
--LotR
---Gondor
---Rohan
---Isengard
---Mordor
---Elves (w/Rivendell)
---Elves (w/shiny enchanting lady)
--Narnia
---Narnia
---Archenland
---Carlomen
---Telmar
---Lone Islands
--Dune? (I know nothing about dune)
--Orson Scott Card
---From "Treason"
----Mueller
----Others
---From "Ender" series
----Formics
----Pequenios
--Others
-Concepts
--Keeping from FFH
---Spells and Equipment
---Heroes and auto-gaining XP
---Alignments (might take RifE's Lawful/Chaotic axis as well)
--New
---certain civs being predisposed to dislike others, ie Gondor disliking Mordor from the outset
---Religions- ditch real-world religions and replace them.. I'm thinking eight total religions (four good/four evil)
--Out there somewhere
---Influence-driven combat
---Vincentz's Warlords
---adapt Medieval Guilds (I like Vincentz's) either as-is or slightly changed (how I can't say atm)
---Some modification of the Chose-your-civ screen that would let it be grouped (visibly) by realm (LotR, Narnia, etc) and let you choose "Random by realm" like FFH's random by alignment
-THINGS I'LL NEED HELP WITH
--Ideas
---Civs, modcomp suggestions, scenarios, etc very welcome

Well.. don't all jump up at once... seriously where'd you all go?

LOTR- Shiny lady = Galadriel, Rivendale = Elrond
You also need the dwarves which = Moria
Shire as well, maybe?

Dune- I think there is a Dune mod, so you may be able to get your info from there

David Eddings- The Belgariad, The Mallorean. Ruby Knight series as well.

R. A. Salvatore- Faerun (Drizz'zt Du'orden), who bunch of info there

There's actually quite a bit of Fantasy avaible. Just off the top of my head (lol, in addition to what I just did);

Palladium games (Rifts)
Shadowrun
Earthdawn
Traveler
White Wolf Games

Just to name a few. Lol, guess it depends on how much content you want in it. Good luck with your mod.

Funny screenshots! Not mods-r-us.

"Eh, maybe that wasn't our best idea ever..."

It was somewhere around 2600 BC when the Mongolians were defeated by the barbarians. Guess their founding of Buddhism didn't count for much. On the plus side, two thousand years later, the Vikings did convert. And Karakorum was still controlled by the barbarians.

So Stalin, dude, what happened to might of Mother Russia?

Edit: I think this is the 1st time I've ever seen a size 16 barb city before. The rest of this continent is nothing but barbs, sz 8-15 pop cities.
