Whats the map type where you each seem to got yer own Isle?
Does anyone else play Tectonics maps? This was my first one and it had disappointingly little land, even with Earthlike settings.

Tectonics can generate very interesting maps, but the "Earthlike" settings (I think it's 70% water) result in these very small landmasses. I used to play around, generating several maps and experimenting with the different variables, and IIRC there's a 60% water option which should provide a much gameplay-friendlier map.

Having gotten this off my chest, I'm going to reload from my previous save. Doesn't seem fair to take out a stack of 14 units without losing any.
Julius Caesar is a creep. I've been semi-isolated with him for a while now, and K-Mod JC keeps spamming units and declaring on me, when all I want to do is get to Optics and avoid falling behind the rest of this large, 18-Civ world...
Anyway, enough preamble. Julius had 14 units (Praets, Spears, Catapults mostly) parked on a forest outside Arretium-which-I-had-stolen-from-him. I had a bunch of Maces, Xbows, Catapults and Keshiks. And after I suicided 4 Cats on his stack, this happened:

Yup. 14 straight wins. Odds weren't all overwhelming, either:
