This is why I prefer cannon rushes. The k/d ratio is amazing. I only lost 5 units after conquesting 6 immortal civs. You just can't do that with Cuirs/Cavalry. The scout died to a lion.

Excluding animals/workers that's a kd ratio of 29:1. I reckon if I micro-managed and bee-lined artillery it should be possible to never lose a unit.

Freaking Boudi went with her own religion and started rofflestomping, fortunately I was was sandwiched from her by Darius, but he lost so many cities.

Background: Darius and Logan were, for a long time, my biggest rivals in power and GNP. Both were teching fast and had armies as big or bigger than mine. If they had teamed up against me, I could have had real problems.

Anyway I'm afraid the following screenshots are more tragic than funny, as a matter of fact I stopped playing midturn to keep myself from vomiting after taking in those sights. Faint of heart and city placement perfectionists beware!

Seriously, Joao and especially Pacal went out of their way to settle the worst possible cities. The greatest tragedy has got to be that Taoist Holy City on Wheat. Knowing my luck those other cities all probably have world wonders or settled specialists or academies or something in them that will keep me from razing those blights once my Musketeers march in.
