I see the map. It looks pretty good to me. Loads of food. However, what is the little green triangle face icon next to the log icon in the upper left? (And what mod makes it?)
IT'S AN ALIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...It might be an Alien :p...yeah...I don't know what that is

It is the BUG mod 'show bug mod options' dialog box.

I see the map now too, don't know why it wasn't there earlier. I think it's "game over" because of the gaggle of food resources, plus very early stone as an Industrious leader. He'll have a huge advantage right from the start.

As far as the :) resources, Islands maps usually seem to spam one type of resource all in clumps on each island. If you want more than one, you gotta sail to another island. At least that's the way it always works for me. Given the map so far, he probably has nine gold mines on the other end of the island.

A reposting from an earlier pic that was too small to read.

Gee, Washington, it sure dosen't LOOK like you're darned happy to see me.

Is this from a recent update of BUG mod? I run BUG mod and don't have the icon. To get the options I have to remember the keys to press, which I always forget and end up trying different combos until I hit it. If it isn't a recent addition, how do I turn it on?

I installed BUG a couple weeks ago and that's what my icon looks like. I've never seen the little ladybug-lookin' one that I see on a lot of the screenshots.

OFF-TOPIC EDIT (and shameless plug): The mod's freakin' awesome, thanks to all that created it.

TheMulattoMaker answered your direct question, so let me add that you can always find all the BUG shortcut keys in the Civilopedia (F12), assuming you haven't disabled the Sevopedia. There's a Shortcuts section that lists all the key combos with a separate page for BUG-added ones. CTRL + ALT + O, BTW. ;)

And thanks, TheMulattoMaker, for enjoying the mod and the plug! It's only shameless if we do it, so you're in the clear. :D

Thanks. I either never noticed or don't remember the shortcuts section in the Civilopedia. I'll have a look.

P-p-lease don't kill me.
...and I thought Wang was scary...
This guy was also quite a pain to dislodge, of course I had no copper, and then built about 2 Chariots less than I would have needed. So I took Edirne, soon moved my palace into it because it is actually an excellent site while Delhi is mediocre at best, and choked him for a millennium until I was finally able to capture Istanbul with Swords...

The Cold War Nightmare: Turkey has succumbed to the Red Menace. :D

Just a quick question: what mod is that? and is it for vanilla or bts?

@ YoshiEgg: Third border pop?

If you are playing RoM (as it looks like you are), Influential culture gives you a 3-tile radius city (instead of 2), so you can work the fish, if you settle 2SW, SE/S or SE/E

@jdstacy: TBH, I have *never* seen a Ghandi with nuclear capability. Nice pic :P

Oh, and pics:

The grassland plains of CURSED ZOMBIES! The only explanation for such a huge gap between cities:

Spoiler :

Only resource on the grassland is a cow near the center of the picture

WW0. This is the earliest WW I have seen, as Defensive Pacts are not actually available yet!

Spoiler :

First Siam declared war on the Khmer Republic, and the Khmer persuaded the Celts to declare war on the Siamese. Then, the Siamese persuaded the Iroquois to declare war on the Celts, and also persuaded the English to declare war on the Khmer. End result: 20 DoWs pre-Defensive pacts.

I would also like to know what mod that was.

Rise of Mankind, with the A New Dawn Modmod. Best mod IMO, adds so much, and is surprisingly balanced. Add one to your difficulty, and go nuts :D

It is the closest you can get to a real simulation of civilizations without it not being fun :P
