I vote RI :) . I'd gladly pay for a from the ground up RI game.

Only pay for it if they pay the RI team to add a ton of civs (as in a TON of civs) (as in every one we can think of) and keep updating regularly  :D

Absolutely. Make the RI team an Indie, updates via svn, and i'd be one happy gamer ( so would my kids as well :) )

I think the Tectonics mapscript felt sorry for putting me on a tiny continent far away from everybody else:
Spoiler :

And so they gave me beavers :D

And apparently the AI doesn't know how to use the Great Wall.

I read this entire menu in Bubba's voice. "Dey's, um, shrimp casserole, shrimp stew, shrimp burger, shrimp 'n' potatoes, broiled shrimp, braised shrimp, shrimp kebab..."

It's the Antonine Wall!

I was thinking Hadrian.. but really, who builds the great wall on the Isle of Britain? Just to steal it from somebody who needs it?

They thought it'd keep those barbarians from Scotland out.

What a neighborhood I've found myself in.

Meanwhile, on another save:

I was tempted to settle one south of the Russian spy just for the s-and-g's of having 7 dye in a BFC, but I resisted the temptation.

Wow, that city would be...

:cooool:

...to dye for...

YEEEAAAHHHHH

The Antonine Wall is basically a further north (and a few decades younger) version of Hadrian's Wall; it fits the geography of the screenshot better.

Death stalks those Lands of Dye.

With a granary, it looks like a prime candidate for whip-building GT and turning it into whip/draft central. Where's all the food going though? I count a 26:food: surplus(29:food: if the fish was workboated); 15:food: if accounting for unhealth, specs, and unhappy, yet somehow the city is stagnating. And I'm assuming the 13:hammers: is from whip overflow?
