lol, I bet you'll get a lot of Global Warming in that game.
Spoiler :

Do pirates add to global warming?

No, they detract from Global Warming.

I posted this a long while ago but I just found this screenshot, and shake my head in disbelief. Hatty AI needs to re-evaluate the value of units. It might have been one of the events that spawns a heap load of barbs but regardless. *I had no hand in this, I was trying to settle my little corner before settling out east.*

Don't mind the name, I was being dumb.

She had Theology when she got invaded.

If my unit and your unit come face to face and are both immune to first strikes can they attack each other?

This is the "Funny Screenshots" thread, not a question thread. But I'll answer anyway.

Of course they can. They are only immune to first strikes, not to regular combat.

I believe, first strikes are essentially a free round of combat (1 round per first strike) for the unit with the first strike. Immunity to first strikes is meaningless if an opposing unit has no first strikes... and if both have first strikes, my guess is that they cancel out.

I uploaded two pics:

The 1st one shows the city screen but some tiles left black.

The 2nd one is so awkward hahaha!

I don´t get what´s supposed to be funny about the second.

At first he is kinda viewing Lisbon and then he is like, zoomed in on Cahokia.. and he's building... the Hanging Gardens.... in 37 turns! What's not to get!?!
Bwahahaha
ahahaha
ahhahaha
ahhah
ha

Sorry for the confusion.

I want to say that the city screen sometimes shows unusual stuff.

In the first picture when you use a great spy to infiltrate an enemy city, the world view remains the same. However assuming that you have not fully explored their territory, if you click on certain tiles that happen to be their city site, you get to have a glimpse of their cities. It gets stranger if the tile is under fog and it happens to be a city site as well.

The second one, just like pomthom said, is a mis-manipulation of a feature. That happened to me before where I was switching tile. That time I mis-click the left and right mouse button at the same time. Suddenly the city zoomed in like the 2nd picture shows. I thought my machine hanged

Both examples are not related to each other. It just happens that I use the same save to recreate the screenshot.

thanks for the explanation
I now see it would be quite awkward to assign citizens to work tiles in the second
