They do the the dirty work. If an apple is spoiling, you remove it. That's reform. You don't throw out the whole barrel, that's stupid beyond belief. The basket is full of worm and germ lets say, so we need to replace the basket. You going to send a sheep there, and it would went back as a wolf. It's a systemic problem as oppose to the human problem.

When I visited during schooltime the cow farm of a schoolfriend there were some wooden boxes in an attic with the rather small and not nice looking apples of the apple trees

No sweets and candy at that farm... the potatoes at dinner the 20-30 cm factory starch variety that was also side food for the cows... but an apple was ok.

I've got family who live there, I really understand what you mean. I've been offered free plane ticket and accommodation, but the story of how strict and static the life is over-there just pushed me. It looks to me like a life that makes feel you are just a small partition of a large machine.

You're not an unintelligent man, you know that various issues have hampered attempt at reform; the stranglehold of police unions, the political lack of will to reform, the continued war on drugs, militarization of the police, these are all confounding issues that until addressed, will continue to hamper reform.

People don't want reform @Farm Boy because they've been promised that for decades and yet the bodies continue to pile up, the list of victims continues to grow longer, the police continue to abuse their power with very little accountability.

We're in this situation precisely because of what HAS and HASN'T happened and now it's too late to continue to promise change and then revert back to the status quo and that's on those who engineered this situation; the police, the politicians, the government.

Bullying doesn't necessary mean that the individual/individual's being bullied are going to be "run out" or leave the community, a common reason for bullying is to silence opinions you don't like.

Implying that someone's own argument has discredited itself still requires evidence. I've already provided the evidence why I think you're comments are weak and easily discredited. It's just what they do here. It doesn't matter what you say, they know what you think, and because they know what you think they can retrospectively interpret everything you say through the lens of knowing what you're really saying. Basically it doesn't really matter what you actually say, or even if you say something that is essentially identical to something one of their friends has said and they have "liked". If you're on the list of disapproved persons, you'll get flak.

What I've found from my observations here is you have to agree completely with their premises 100% otherwise you're an outsider of their "group", they also love to misrepresent what you say. For example I acknowledged and agreed that police officers that commit acts of violence against protestors untowardly should face prosecution, but because I don't agree with their premise that "they are all evil" I must be this racist hate filled bigot, and rather than address the argument made, they try and paint you as a "cartoon villain" with snide and sarcastic remarks because its easier to brush aside what you have said rather than actually address the points being made, its sloppy and lazy debating tactics.

You used the word "generally advocating", so its an acknowledgement of yours that you yourself know that some of the people being bullied aren't really advocating those positions, you just don't like what they are saying.
